It was magical, the way the light filtered through and the ensuing reflections of the water on the cave walls was mesmerizing. Water was just the right temperature, swimming was so refreshing you didn't want to get out. Steps to get in and out of the cenote were not as slippery from condensation dripping off stalactites as some reviewers warned but still a good idea to pay attention. It was easy to understand why the Mayan people considered cenotes to be the entrance to the underworld, truly had a mystical feel to it. We went early, around 9:30 ish and had the whole place to ourselves for over half an hour and then only about 10 other people arrived. Highly recommend

We came here right after visiting Coba. It is easy to find just use google maps, and we visited another one also very nearby here. Entrance fee is 100 pesos and there are life vests. Just an FYI, the photos show a dock, but it was submerged about 3 feet underwater when we were there. This is a super deep cenote! I'm not sure how deep it is, but I think it was the deepest one we visited. Well worth the visit!

We visited this Cenote after leaving Coba (1-2-20). The guard shack guy told us all about it and gave us a brochure with a map. It was easy to find!
We only did the Multun-Ha because we had spent so much time at Coba.
This Cenote is a traditional underground pool. The hole/entrance winds down about 100 steps to the bottom dock. You can jump in; it is plenty deep. There are ropes you can sit/hold on to. Take time to just sit in the water and enjoy how SOFT the water feels on your skin. It is super clear too. It is so clear that it appears you can touch but the rocks below are very far down.
The next time we visit a Cenote, I will bring goggles and a snorkel so I can look under the water for long periods of time. The rocks below are a wonder to see just like the rocks above.
Be sure to make this part of your Coba trip!
MOST SINCERELY!!!!

Cost was 100 Pesos per person. Very close to Coba Mayan ruins. They have a changing room and toilets nearby. You descend on a long winding staircase to the cenote inside of a cavern. Large wooden dock. Crystal clear cool water. Bring your swim trunks, flipper and snorkel gear. Lots to see and some fish. Highly recommend.

We went here as part of a TUI tour to Coba. It is well worth a visit . We did it in two parts. The first was a old cenote on the way down to the+main site. Here was the remains of an earlier cenote where we were treated to a blessing by a holy man. We then went down to the main cenote which was accessed by wooden steps. Please be careful as they are slippy. When you are there this is a pleasant underground cenote.

the feeling you get when you enter, and look what nature has created to enjoy a unique feeling that stays in the mind and soul. This cenote is very beautiful, also you have small ramps of 10 and 20 meters height for dive, if you go to Coba, this is a must do!

Wasn't sure what to expect walking down the little 6ft hole straight down. But once you get into the open its amazing. Crystal clear water. Would definitely like to go back to this one again.

Go down about 80 steps to this underground wonder.
It is a large domed cavern with crystal clear water. You can see to the bottom easily if you have a mask. Some underground passages to explore. Very pretty sight.
