Just 3 of us picked by JP at our condo, heading out on a private tour. JP was an informative, wonderful guide. He made us stop and listen to the peaceful sounds of the jungle; then we entered the quiet stillness of the Cenote. He drew our attention to the incredible age of this underground phenomena. Loved the swimming. We... More

Antonio (S) took my partner and I on a private tour of the Cenote and surrounding paths. It will forever be an amazing memory. The Cenote itself is unlike any experience I've ever had underground. With minimal enviornmental impact, the purveyors of this place have kept ecology and mystery in tact. Antonio pointed out every secret place where life is... More

I booked the tour for my wife, son, and me. Viktor was very responsive via email and made the booking process easy. You pay a down payment, and pay the remainder in USD when you take the tour. Antonio was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe. We were a little unsure what to expect, waiting... More

This experience was so far superior to what we expected. JP was our personal guide who picked us up himself from our hotel. He was so informative and erudite on both the geology and biodiversity of the surrounding area. He was very patient with my 9 year old daughter, and wife who really doesn't like to swim. Although intimidating at... More

My wife, 2 daughters, and I booked a group tour that consisted of one other party of 4, so even though we booked the group tour it still had an intimate feel to it. Our guide Viktor was fantastic. He provided insight and history to the tour. Words and pictures cannot capture the unique beauty of the cenote. My wife... More

After having been to several cenotes where you can just show up, my husband and I wrongfully thought the same was true of Cenote Santa Cruz. It turns out you must make a reservation ahead of time. My husband spoke to a nice man on the property who explained this to us. Fortunately we drove a little further and found... More

A beautiful tranquil place. My first experience. The walk/swim in was magical. The guides were wonderful. When we surfaced in the center and looked up at the blue sky it was truly wow. You do need to drive a couple of miles down a compacted dirt road to get there but well worth the trip as you truly feel like... More

A visit to the Cenote Santa Cruz should be a definite place to see if you are in the Akumal area. We were staying at the Secrets Akumal resort and this excursion was very close by and only took up half the day, allowing for more water time with the turtles back at the beach. We were lucky enough to... More

This is a truly beautiful place, secluded and a fantastic cenote, I highly recommend this over many others as there are far less people, small groups and only one group at any time. A bit out of the way, but a wonderful place to relax and cool down.
