Great experience swimming with these gentle creatures. It will be a little challenging getting to them as you enter the beach because of the amount of seaweed but, once you get past that, you will be able to appreciate these amazing creatures of the sea!

Yes if you can make your way back to Akumal Bay (you may have to pay for parking), but yes you can rent palapa's and/or beach chairs & towels, which comes with bracelets to show you belong for the day on the private beach... More

We went there about midday and we found loads and we got told when we was there that only spend about 2-3 minutes watching 1 turtle as they need to surface 😀
