The visit to Bodega Clos de Tres Cantos exceeded our expectations. All 4 wines on a a tasting menu were very good. Our favorite wines were HOJA EN BLANCO (Chenin Blanc) and EL OTRO. Our host Erica did an outstanding job on telling us "everything about wine making in the Guadalupe Valley" and beyond. The stunning architecture, pleasant seating area with the expansive views and the bread+cheese sampler made the tasting so much more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Clos de Tres Cantos. The architecture here was a blend of pyramids, metal sculptures, desert scape and vineyard scenery with a great outdoor tasting area. Eliza, our hostess, explained our wine tasting selections (Simple tasting: $350 MEX; Premium tasting, all reds: $700 MEX). I enjoyed the relaxed vibe and personal attention given. My favorite wine was the 2016 Noesis. I have to mention we were given mineral water with ice cube and a slice of lemon. Absolutely delicious on a hot day!

The visit to Bodega Clos de Tres Cantos was a surprise. Very good wines, friendly service and excellent sitting area with a great view.

Our favorite was Mouvedre DUDA and EL OTRO. They offer cheese plates from the Ramonetti family. Delicious!!
Be sure to visit.

Plenty of parking high on a hill. Very clean bathroom in a very interesting building with rustic decorations.
In July 2019 open wed-sun 11-5, closed Monday and Tuesday.

La Cava de Marcelo near the town of Ojos Negros ( 25 miles winding road from Ensenada) was created to store their Ramonetti aged cheeses, produced in Rancho la Campana from German Holstein cows.
The underground tour to the cava is a must to taste their fantastic selection of aged cheeses. Open 1- 6 pm only Thursday to Sunday .

Terrible service. At hosting they told us to wait one minute. Than after 5 mins they told they could not assist us. Ten manager Ruben (if that’s his real name) told us he could jot help us. Even though the place was absolutely empty! Do not recommend to anyone.

You will see the Pyramids on the hill and you must stop. The beauty and energy of this amazing location is intoxicating. The wine is some of the best we had in Baja.
A Valle de Guadalupe must see! Clos De Tres Cantos is another masterpiece designed by architect Alejandro D’Acosta. From recycled furniture with a concrete make over to walls built from used wine bottles. This place is an artists dream. Over 90% of all the materials used to build the winery are reclaimed from the region. The interior of the cellar is lit naturally as the sunlight passes through wine bottles filled with water and alcohol to further enhance the brightness. Everything from the presentation of the philosophy of the winery to the wine itself it’s absolutely amazing! Clos de Tres Cantos is easy to spot from Highway 3. The owners Joaquin and Maria developed Clos de Tres Cantos with the land in mind. Their concept behind the project is sustainable, and respectful to the surrounding areas. If you have the chance to talk with Joaquin take the time to hear his philosophies!

The winery was designed by Mexican Architect Alejandro D'Acosta. I commend the owner because the design and building arrangements make this place a quaint and relaxing place to enjoy a good glass or bottle of wine. We tasted their Tempranillo and it was very decent. I think they need to work a little more on their guest service experience and should offer to show some of the cellars they have. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Baja's Wine Country to visit this place.

It is very difficult to judge bad wine to a god wine because a large difference of taste, but this is my experience.
I been at Clos De tres Cantos five times first time I tray a descent wine tasting includes one calls”Nada” the other visits the variety of wines change so dramatic to the point that last weekend I drank vinegar, the quality of the wine at this place is very poor.

This stone-and-glass tasting room is a beautiful spot to enjoy the winery's excellent wines. We had an opportunity to try a rose, a lighter red, and a Rhone varietal. All three were wonderful. The wines are very reasonably priced and it's hard to leave here without buying something because everything is good! We'll be back.
