Worth The Visit.
Apr 2021 • Friends
I went for a birthday party that a friend of mine was having. About 14 people were there. It was a beautiful place, parking was easy, food (although I’m vegan) looked exceptional, & the prices were very good.

As it is something I’ve recently witnessed in the Valle, I feel compelled to say that they do accept dogs. Actually lovingly accept them.

The wines were tasty. Nevertheless, overall, I would only come back to take people as they weren’t my personal favorites (generally speaking). There was a Nebbiolo, Cabernet, & i believe Syrah blend that was exceptional. There gift shop is super cute too & has some quality products inside.

Friendly service was a big thing & the owner even came & spent some time getting to know us too. She was very sweet.

All in all, a beautiful & worthwhile place to visit.

First stop on our first trip to Valle de Guadalupe. Good wines, friendly staff, cute outdoor patio area for tasting! Super low key and chill.

Great views, great wine

The wine at Pijoan was very good, particularly their port. The guy pouring for us was very friendly and helpful. I recommend adding Pijoan to your trip to Valle de Guadalupe.

Best wine in the valley!!!
Dec 2019
It was promising from the moment we drove up and met, Mike...the security guard with a great personality. He set the done for a lovely experience. Seriously...we were astounded at how good their wines were. After 4 days in the valley and a sampling of quite a few wineries, we realized that it was truly hit or miss. As a wine lover, I certainly understand that everyone's palate is unique and one should definitely drink what they love. We went to beautiful places with wines we didn't love and some low-key places where the wine was delicious. From top to bottom, Pijoan was our favorite. It has a lovely view, an amazing, chef, sweet dogs, and the best wine in the valley. We almost missed it as we wanted to hit one last place before we left. Reviews saved us!! We read some reviews on the spot we were headed and weren't enthusiastic. Pijoan was nearby and the reviews were spot on. I highly recommend.

Birthday weekend.
Oct 2019 • Friends
Took the weekend off to celebrate a few birthdays, To get away from the everyday thing. My friend decided on this place that has a winery and a guest house. Very beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in the guest house very clean , has everything you need. Not far from the rest of the wineries. Good location. Definitely would stay here again.

First time visiting this winery
Jul 2019
This place was recommended by friends. We took our son and his girlfriend, on their first visit to El Valle and this was the first winery. We sat outside and purchased a meat and cheese tray to compliment the wines. It was a beautiful day. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend, we will definitely be returning. Cheers

A good time had by all.
Aug 2019
From the time we were greeted at the gate by Mike and the canine greeting committee thru the wine tasting in the charming shady outdoor space, and the relaxed winery tour, we had a lovely time. Alas, we were there before food was being served, but the menu looked great. Something for next time.

Our favorite wines in the Valle - great little house to stay in as well
May 2018 • Couples
We stayed at Vinos Pijoan this week. We found the accomodation on AirBNB and did not realize what a great little winery this is. The little house had everything and in the evenings we had the entire winery to ourselves. Two great deck areas, a fireplace and cooking grill if we desired.

We arrived a bit early so we went to the tasting room and Manuel, their winemaker, was there. We had several tastings and he fixed us some wine, meat and cheese as well, which was great! He gave us the history of their place and some other wineries to see while we were in the valley. We also had the pleasure of then meeting the owners, Pau and Leonara. Great people and great discussion about their history and wines. They also recommended a new restaurant run by a young Italian guy named Ivan from Todos Santo called Tre Galline. It was across the street and we had a lovely meal there out last evening. It was better than Deckman's, which we love!

We bought two cases from Vinos Pijoan to take home. Try their Cordenendas, a French and Mexican blend, Convertible and Leonara were excellent as well. After three days here in the Valle we liked their wines the best and the prices as well!
