As has been previously noted, Armando made our visit exceptional. He brilliantly introduced wines to us and explained so much about making and tasting wines and the different varieties found in the valley. The atmosphere is lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We went here as our first winery of the day as a group of girlfriends from La and it was our favorite experience ! So friendly and everything was explained so beautifully. It was like listening to poetry hearing Armando explain each wine like a different strong lady. They even foster animals here and we were able to play with new kitties ! Will 100% be back ! Highly recommend all the wines as well, especially Canto.

This is our 3rd visit in a year. I have to say third time is a charm. Our first 2 visits (Sept 2020 and Dec 2020) were sub par with very pretentious and unfriendly service from some gentleman behind the counter. This time the vineyard was hopping with people, full of life and offered excellent and friendly service. The owner was lovely and was making the rounds visiting with people. This is what makes a vineyard stand out whether their wines are ok or excellent. It was good to see the passion of a small, family run vineyard and that passion shows in the quality of the wines they produce. We have always loved all the Lechuza wines and I’m so happy the third visit was a charm!!

Couldn’t get any better; full of magic from the begining to the end. Armando is amazing in the way he explains how Lechuza and wine itself has developed in Valle, my favorite so far.

A must try are the tacos, they have a food truck from the restaurant « Laja » and the pairing with the Wines couldn’t get any better.

Thank you so much for the amazing memories me & my boyfriend made after visiting. We expect to come back soon.

In November we went the place is nice, at first they did not want to receive us, according to only receive groups did not tell the cashier Daniela, but they gave themselves a space and we paid tasting of their wines.
We liked them but the bad experience was that our shipments of the wines we bought went wrong and the winemaker was not responsible and did not ship all the wines. This was reported with Jorge.
Currently they don't even answer the whats.
Tip be cautious if ordering at La ochuza winery.

I have been to Lechuza several times and really think they are some of the best wines in the valle. Our tasting host Armando was just fantastic! He knew everything about the history of wine in Mexico. He was very, very knowledgeable. If you only have time to visit a few wineries and you care about the wine more than the winery than you should visit Lechuza!

Everything was lovely! Kristen, the current owner, shared a historical rundown of how Lechuza came to be. She's knowledgeable and has a great staff. My daughter and I enjoyed a few hours a Lechuza tasting wine, playing with Canto and Pluma (their new rescue pups). The seating arrangement is in the middle of the vineyard and it was peaceful and serene. We loved our morning adventure to Lechuza and highly recommend.

To think we were going to leave the Valle without checking Lechuza seems ridiculous now. Good thing we stopped off. Armando our wine steward for the afternoon loves what he does and shares that love with whoever walks through the doors of lechuza. The wines were by far my favorite of the trip. Left the experience with one of everything offered.

If you head to Valle de Guadalupe you must try Lechuza. When you go ask for Armando you won’t be sorry.

The place only accepts by reservation and they do not attend to you
Arriving, I was alone and given no option. To the
Perishing they only give attention to foreign tourists which leaves a bad taste in the mouth, in Mexico we distinguish ourselves by the attention here they did not honor

Best wine we've ever had! This is right off the highway, but you wouldn't know it being in their courtyard. It's more like being in their front yard than a fancy winery which makes it all the more charming. We only drink red wines so were a little disappointed they only had one. We had a tasty sandwich from the food truck. There's also a little gift shop with apparel, aprons and wine items. We paid and were going to leave and the server came up to us and said, "you like reds, right? Wait ... you need to try this!" He came over and gave us a glass of the best cab from a limited vintage. Wow what a find! Ask for his list of recommendations which he has printed by the cash register.
