Great little winery in the heart of the valley.
Feb 2020
This was the first of the 2 wineries of our Carnival Cruise Excursion. It started with a scenic bus ride to the lovely Valle de Guadalupe. Our tour guide, Irma, was very informative with the history of Mexico and the wineries of Ensenada. Once we got to the winery we were showed every step of how the wine is made , from getting it off of the trucks, to the aging process, and everything in between. The guide at the winery was very thorough and knowledgeable. He even showed us the "proper" way to hold a wine glass and how to get the most out of a tasting. At the end of the tour we were treated with some delicious homemade sweet breads, meats and cheeses to go with our tastings. We had time to make purchases at the gift shop before heading back on the bus, where we were given a free bottle of wine to take back to the ship with us. We partied on the bus the entire way back. It was quite a good time!

La Cetto Has Something For Everyone!
Jan 2020
I stumbled upon this beautiful winery on a cruise tour. It takes about forty-five minutes from the cruise port, but the drive is absolutely breathtaking. You get to see a view of the gorgeous mountains and coming back form the winery you get to see a view of the Ensenada next to the ocean. La Cetto has an amazing selection of white, red, and blend wine. You will definitely find a wine that you love here. The best part is they also offer a selection of cheese and house made olive oil. On the VIP tour we were also taken around the winery and shown the process of the wine making and the history of the location. Amazing winery that I would recommend to anyone looking to try different wine while enjoying a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Nice tasting experience in Ensenada
Dec 2019
Visited based on a local's recommendation. Enjoyable experience is a small group. Learned a thing or two, not being a big wine drinker. Regret not bringing back some wine, don't make the same mistake!

A must stop for newbies
Nov 2019
This is a great stop for people not used to wine tasting. The guide does an excellent job of showing the winemaking process. This is followed by the usual experience of tasting 4 wines in branded glasses. The wine store has more than just wine.

Valle de Guadalupe
Oct 2019 • Friends
Visited L.A. Cetto. It was our first winery stop at valle de Guadalupe. Wine testing and tour were very good. Tour comes with four glasses of wine tasting at the end. The tour guy was very knowledgeable and gave us some good tips. I tasted the “Vinos de reserva” and I like all but one which was very sweet for me. I really recommend this winery.

The McDonalds of wineries in Guadalupe
Sep 2019
Not one of my favorite wineries, Even though it's like the second winery built in Guadalupe, it's just a big box winery with a tasting room. I rarely recommend it to the many people who use my RV park, even though its only like 2 miles away. Some go just because it's close. Yes they have a wide variety of wines and some are actually good. But... for the experience, not worth it. No view, place tends to be crowded on weekends and when the cruise ships are in.The travelers using tours don't have much a choice and think it's the bomb because they haven't seen the real nice wineries around here. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the wine tasting is sometimes done in plastic cups, really plastic? Yeah, they give you a tour of how the wine is made, which most wineries have the option of doing. Or you can google how wine is made and save yourself time. With all the other many beautiful wineries and better tours available around the Valley why come here? On the minor plus side, yeah, some of the wine is cheaper here than the nicer wineries.

It’s a must but isn’t a good experience
Jul 2019 • Family
If you’re a wine tasting lover, you won’t enjoy visiting LA Cetto... To many impatient people trying to get drunk on the walking tours.

The winery store is good enough and you’ll find a limited selection of wines and cheeses.
