Viñas Garza is 30-40min drive from Ensenada. Do yourself a favor and book a Premium tasting well in advance, most probably you will get the chance to be hosted by the owners/winers themselve. This California styled tasting room has good views, but unexciting wines. Staff had to read the label to know the wine blends and you have to keep your ticket to obtain the next selection. Compared to other family run and smaller vineyards, this was a disappointment.

The servings are no more than 1/2 Oz., making the whole tasting overpriced, compared to those in other wineries. I didn’t pay for the visit (MXN$750 per person) as I didn’t think it was a fair price to pay.…

Located in Rancho El Mogorcito, this is one of the most see places in Valle de Guadalupe. The vineyard is a beautiful sight and there is a terrace perfect for enjoying the view while you do the wine tasting. We went of the tasting of 4 reds and 3 whites, between 2 people. It was perfect! Specially if you will do more tastings that day. We asked for a cheese plate and bread and they were delicious! Their wine is really good as well. …
