Good wines and nice view
The service is horrible. They didn’t have bread to sell but didn’t allow us to eat a piece of bread we had with us ! With $18 usd per tasting what is the big deal if we give a bite to a piece of bread!!

Great wine, beautiful winery. We love their premium wines; Gran Amado, Caldo Gordo, El Sombrero and even Rancho Mogorcito. A bit pricy for Mexican wines but very high quality from year-to-year. They need to work with their young employees to better their service to customer in order to match the high quality of wine and experience.

Beautiful winery, beautiful views, great service and good wine. We are not big wine drinkers, but learned a little bit. Not our favorite winery, but it was a great visit.

Viñas Garza is 30-40min drive from Ensenada. Do yourself a favor and book a Premium tasting well in advance, most probably you will get the chance to be hosted by the owners/winers themselve. If you are not into tastings, you can still arrive without reservation to visit the store and taste the wine.
Yes, the wines are mostly on the high end price range, but once you hear from the owners the principles behind their business model, the investments to produce the highest quality wines and the challenges for doing business in Mexico, you get an appreciation of the product you are consuming. Some high end restaurant chefs are designing their own wines in collaboration with this winery.
We loved the place, the tasting, and specially the opportunity to meet this entreprenuers.

This California styled tasting room has good views, but unexciting wines. Staff had to read the label to know the wine blends and you have to keep your ticket to obtain the next selection. Compared to other family run and smaller vineyards, this was a disappointment.

The place is beautiful. I chose the 4-wines tasting as the premium tasting required at least 8 people.

The quality of the wines improved with every label in the sequence (ranging from 2 Km/hr to Amado IV). The last label was by far the best.

The bads: It’s the only winery in the entire valley where they will not allow my 14-yo son to walk in. This obviously, shortened my visit to maybe 1/4 of the time I would have spent otherwise.

The servings are no more than 1/2 Oz., making the whole tasting overpriced, compared to those in other wineries.

I didn’t pay for the visit (MXN$750 per person) as I didn’t think it was a fair price to pay.

Located in Rancho El Mogorcito, this is one of the most see places in Valle de Guadalupe. The vineyard is a beautiful sight and there is a terrace perfect for enjoying the view while you do the wine tasting. We went of the tasting of 4 reds and 3 whites, between 2 people. It was perfect! Specially if you will do more tastings that day.
We asked for a cheese plate and bread and they were delicious!
Their wine is really good as well.

Will not take you in for reserve-wine tasting if your party is smaller than 8 people. I've been to Mendoza, Bordeaux, Napa, Temecula, and never heard such nonsense. Suggest you avoid.
