This is a small, relatively new and attractive museum, staffed by friendly and knowledgeable individuals, some whom are English-speaking. The museum includes many interactive computer-based displays in both English and Spanish. Although the museum does not present a comprehensive history of these native Americans, what...More

Went motorcycle riding from Tijuana to Tecate. Got there late, around 4 pm as I took a wrong turn and ended up in Rosaito Beach. The museum was still open so stopped and looked around. The exhibits are in English or Spanish but many did...More

There are three small museums that comprise the complex. Good place to take children who are at least 8 years old. We were four adults and enjoyed learning about Tecate's local history. Well done!

A very interesting exhibit on the Kumeyaay Indians and other history of the Tecate area. A beautiful setting in a safe spot. In fact, Tecate is a very safe area. A visit should go hand and hand with visiting La Rumorosa.

First of all Tecate is wonderful. Although it is on the border it feels like a quaint town that would be found deeper in Mexico. Whenever I go I walk from the US side to the museum, which takes about 15 minutes from the parking...More
