This was a really fascinating spot to walk around. The weather was really pleasant during our visit and we lucked out by going on a Sunday, which is free for international travelers. The whole site took about an hour and a half to walk and we were able to have a picnic lunch at the tables onsite. Most of the trail signage is in Spanish only but the 5 major stops had English descriptions. The drawings are very well preserved although some can be a little difficult to find.

There are about 10 pictures, very simple ones, you can get the sense of ancient people walking around. The place is great, the sound of silence unbeatable. If you are looking for something extraordinary, this place is not for you.

Very interesting and well kept. You can walk through places where people lived and passed thousand of years ago. It is amazing how these people communicated what they saw and what they believed in. Highly recommend it.

What I enjoyed about this site was the complete freedom allowed. There is no park ranger, no charge, and a path marking the way. It was very peaceful to just stroll along the path and then climb up into the cave. The view from the rocks in front of the cave was incredible.

Hi, can you tell me where this place is & how far out of Tecate it is? It doesn't come up on the trip advisor map.
Written April 20, 2016
Appears to be 37 miles east of Tecate via Federal Highway 2D, near La Rumorosa.
