Thank you so much Mario, Sara and the team for the great time with you! Your food is so wonderful that we would prefer not to have left. Thanks Mario for the opportunity to do another whale watching tour even though the season was actually over. Thank you for your hospitality! best regards www . fahrrad-familie-outdoor . com

Guerrero Negro is a world heritage site. But in order to see the whales well, you need a good panga and an expert pangero. And yes, Mario's has a good pangero. Knowledgeable, patient, yet conscious of sustainable eco-tourism, Mario's tours has great pangeros. We went out 2 mornings - and on both days our experience was the best it could be. Even though the sea was rough on the first day, we were able to get close enough to the whales without disturbing them. The second day was what I had experienced 8 years ago with Malarrimo... The on-shore staff is also knowledgeable and courteous, and their "introduction to the whales" briefing was better than Malarrimo's. The rest of it is about the same - same prices, same "modus operandi" (half deposit, half at the end of the tour), the size of the boat, the transportation to and from the docks, the length of the tour, quality of lunch, etc. Definitely recommended

I made reservations with Miriam, Mario’s Tours, about six months in advance for a February whale watching trip for four people. We planned our custom trip that far in advance because hotels book up along the way and there and we wanted to use Mario’s Tours in Guerrero Negro for whale watching. Miriam was fantastic I paid a deposit through a USA banks do she provided trip details. We arrived at their office the day before to learn that high winds were cancelling trips. The next morning we arrived around 7 for breakfast and were very happy to hear it was a go! Mario’s has a group lecture room and Cynthia provided an informative presentation about the whales and region. Then the four of us boarded a van with Cynthia. She continued to provide more information while driving to the departure point. On the drive you go through a large salt mining operation. Cynthia got us suited in life jackets and rain jackets. It was a bit rough on the sea but we saw incredible whale activity. Jose was our panga driver and he pointed whales out and maneuvered the panga for observation. The whales were rolling around and under the panga coming no alng side the boat. We were thrilled with our Mario Tour experience and thank Miriam and staff for making accommodations for us. Tom, Laurie Greg and Suzanne

Whale tour was amazing. 6 of us in the boat plus captain. Had lots of very close encounters. Captain was happy to stay with whales. The whales were staying with us and having fun. There seemed to be no rush to get back. Great packed lunch too. Used WhatsApp to book. Great explanations too before the tour. Definitely recommend. Good value too. Thank you.

I’ve seen gray whales many times. I know the quality of the experience is generally time-sensitive. My companion had never been to see them. We visited Guerrero Negro for the first time, and it was terrific. And this was January 25, when you might be disappointed with is possible in the more southerly lagoons. We had the classic mother and baby whale plus a couple moms keeping a watchful eye on the proceedings. If you haven’t experienced the “friendly whale showing off her baby” you’re missing one of the greatest wildlife shows on the planet.
