Visit to Quebec City

We went to hotel de glacé on our way to Quebec City. It's a hotel made of ice. More than 25 Rooms are sculpted out of ice. There is a disco and a bar as well. Different experience.

It was exactly what I expected! I was there for my birthday and had a great time. It was cold inside and out. You can plenty of pictures while you are there. I had an ice drink in an ice glass which was great! I would recommend taking the tour!

I had a wonderful night at the hotel with my husband. It was so much fun... lots of laughs... no too many drinks (restrooms are outside, so kinda hard to go during the night.. and the weather.. you know...) but a lovely stay... I would definitely recommend this experience BUT FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!.. :) Do not miss the dog... More

This place is cool and a must see. We visited in evening and checked all the suites and rooms of the hotel. All are made by ice. The artwork inside the hotel also made with ice are amazing. We hung out in the ice bar and had drinks on ice glass. It's a unique experience. The colors on ice structures... More

Having a drink at the Ice bar in the Hotel de Glace is quite a neat thing to do. The drinks were part of our tour package and the drinks were quite good. There is music and a bit of a dance scene later in the evening.

Be sure to plan for time to take the tour and then tour the suites on your own. Each room is completely different and you will want to see the huge range of rooms. Each year the hotel's interior has a different theme so you could return annually and the inside would be changed. Since there are only two ice... More

Who could have guessed that drinking out of ice cups inside a hotel entirely made of ice would be fun...but it was. The guest rooms were fascinating, each with a different decor and some with a fireplace. There is a sauna and 3 hot tubs in the courtyard which are probably necessary if you are spending the night there. A... More

We stumbled across this unusual hotel / attraction by chance and had time to kill before flying back home. It turned out to be an amazing visit. The hotel is located in a park and is open to tourists during the day. The various rooms / suits run the gamut from plain snow to elaborate ice carvings and lighting. Tours... More

This was such a different destination than we have ever experienced - even compared to the true glacier that we explored many decades ago. The creativity involved in putting this altogether and making it fun and engaging was quite impressive. Our brief tour, led by Vanessa, was full of interesting details about building the hotel, and what it was like... More

if you're staying overnight, everything opens at 9 pm. you can check in earlier and get your locker, drop off your overnight stuff, schedule your 15 minute mandatory training and wander the grounds. we checked in at about 4 or 5 pm, stayed for about an hour or so and then left to find some dinner and entertainment for a...
