This is an absolutely beautiful church with stunning ceilings and stained glass. It is quite large and impressive. Known for its healthing work take note of the crutches, canes, walkers and wheel chairs mounted on the walls as evidence of the special powers. Do not...More

We tacked the visit to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre onto our day trip out of Quebec City on a recommendation from another stop and were glad we made the trip. We were probably most taken by the mosaics on the ceiling of the entry way. It was the...More

We visited this church while on a bus tour. A lot of history here as many with disabilities apparently were cured here as evidenced by their crutches which were discarded and later mounted on some of the church's pillars.

I had heard about this building and had been told that, if in the Québec City region, it's a must-see place. It sure is, hands down. We should have explored it longer but there was a time constraint. This is a photographer's delight if you...More

We enjoyed the stop on our bus tour. Thankfully, we received a history lesson on the church before we entered. We also got a short pamphlet on the history at the visitor center. Be sure to visit all of the different levels.
