We booked very last minute and arrived an hour late. Yannick was very patient and welcoming, he even stayed an hour overtime just for us and gave my boyfriend a free t-shirt for his birthday. Our guide Martin was both friendly and professional. I can’t remember the last time I had such excellent service!

Jeff was an amazing driver/guide on our 1 he keep ride through the hilly terrain. A highlight was getting to interact with the huskies that dog sled in the winter time. Jeff was knowledgeable and we learned more about plants you could eat in the bush, which mushrooms to stay away from and was happy to answer our questions. This made the excursion a real learning opportunity. We stopped a couple of times at some beautiful vistas and were treated to great scenery. We opted for a guide to drive but there is the choice to also drive yourself.

We did the hour long snow mobile excursion and loved it. Our tour guide Fred was informative and helped us every step of the way. He let us have our fun, while making sure safety was the most important thing. The excursion area was beautiful, covered with snow both on the ground and on the trees— we truly felt like we were in a winter wonderland. The operation was first class all the way, from checkin, to getting the right gear through the instruction part. Will definitely do it again next time we’re in the Montreal area! One small suggestion would be to maybe cruise around the lake twice (instead of once)— that’s really the only area you can go full speed.

We went there at 3 p.m., we visited the kennel with a passionate and very interesting guide! We were able to pet the dogs and learn more about the kennel. We then took a ~40 min walk in the forest where we could drive. Our guide Alex was great, passionate and attentive! A truly wonderful afternoon!!

I make several places for the sled dog, and it’s the dumbest place with the most incompetent employees. To start the dogs we pee on the cushion it was all wet and this girl in the photo very rude she replied that I had two choices to sit on the pee or on the sled not cushion (very uncomfortable) all the places I do are so well equipped with even blankets. But the worst thing is that the dog they were too tired that they didn’t advance at all we had to stop every 2 seconds at the same time the activity generally lasts 10min. Then I went to see the owner and very frequent he replied: ah beeee he has nothing to do if you leave me a comment I will reply to you. Very horrible experience and place forever returns

A great experience, you definitely have to do it at least once. We were picked up from the hotel in Montreal at around 8:30 a.m. There are various packages; we had a transfer, warm clothing to rent, a dog sled tour and lunch included. It was nice to see how the dogs live there and how comfortable they are. Some of the huskies are really affectionate and love to be petted. It is a bit tiring because one sits in the sled and one stands or steers. For us it was a great once in a life experience. Very well organized, there is enough time for photos and to spend time with the dogs. Really highly recommended! We were back at the hotel at 2:30 p.m.

A unique moment with the sled dogs.
We participated in the Sled Dogs activity and it was a pure moment of happiness in nature and in the company of these exceptional animals.
Thanks to Mini Maya, Micky, Yoyo, Pompom, and Manckato.
A very warm thought for Claudie who so kindly accompanied us.
I leave with wonderful memories

My wife and I visited Aventures Plein Air this December just in time for the first major snowfall of the year and we were so amazed by how wonderful this company is!

From the shuttle that picked us up in Montreal (Shirley is the nicest lady ever), to the amazing team of employees at the property, we were treated like VIP's the whole time! Alex, the owner, is the nicest, most down-to-earth guy. He treats his staff like family and all of his guests even better!

We went dog sledding on the frozen lake, which was a dream come true, then the next day we went snowmobiling through the mountain forests covered with snow. Wow.

During our half-day snowmobile tour, we stopped in town for an included lunch, which was delicious...you gotta try the Poutine!

Alex provided my wife and I top quality snow gear, including snowmobiling pants, coat, gloves, and helmet which he let us use for our entire stay there, not just during our tour. We couldn't believe how nice everyone was and what great quality equipment they have. We rode a brand new snowmobile that was super easy to drive and VERY fast!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. We will, without a doubt, visit again. we can't wait to check out their summer/fall offerings. They have Jeep CJ-7's with huge tires ready to go trailing.

Thanks again, Alex for all of your assistance planning our trip and excursions. You made our trip to Canada so memorable!
