- Alejandro BOttawa, Canada971 contributionsCannot recommend this park enough!I have been to this park twice and have had a lot of fun both times. While the first time was very busy (it was summer), the second time felt like we had the park to ourselves, as we went on a weekday during the week before Christmas. With the minimal car traffic, we were able to really take our time with the animals. The result was a magical experience and a desire to come back!Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 19, 2022
- Laura-Lee L1 contributionGreat experienceWe had a great time! We stayed overnight in the pods it was better than expected. The price was great, we had a sweet gift when we arrived at our pod and breakfast delivered in the morning. It was super comfortable for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). Bring some board games or cards as there is no tv or lounging area. But everything was super comfortable.Visited March 2023Written March 9, 2023
- IsabelleAruba10 contributionsSleeping with the WolvesOnce in a lifetime experience with the wolves! We booked a 2 night stay in the Wolf Cabins and it exceeded our expectations. Not only can u observe the wolfs all day long while having a glass of wine, while the kids mimic the howling, the cabin is nicely equipped ( love the Nespresso machine snd the firewood for your personal bonfire) but the area itself is fascinating. We saw bears, a bear cub and dear a short walk from the cabin! Included in the stay is also tickets to the actual Parc Omega which is a drive-thru experience. Although we had expected the animals to be roaming free, it did not disappoint and it was still cool to see foxes, coyotes, boars, bisons and other animals. A must do for any an animal lover!Visited April 2023Traveled with familyWritten April 15, 2023
- CanadianGirlOntario, Canada137 contributionsIncredible experienceDespite it being a freezing cold day, this was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely breathtaking park and amazing experience with the animals. Tip: bring a lot of carrots. You don’t want to miss out on feeding them.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 24, 2023
- Avi RIsrael327 contributionsAt least 2 hours of pleasureThe best safari ever! The deers are all around you, playing with the wild boar, which are also surrounding you. Bring tons of carrots for the free feeding of the animals, you can wonder for hours looking at those animals from 2 intches distanceVisited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 3, 2023
- Holly H36 contributionsI FINALLY SAW A MOOSE!!This was so much cooler than I could ever have imagined - tons of different kinds of deer converge on your car to eat the carrots you have purchased , right out from your hands- they are very polite for the most part and docile! It’s a little scary that you might hurt them with your car as you drive slowly through the packs of deer that come to visit.. but surprisingly that didn’t happen. The 7.5 mile drive took us about two hours and we did finally see a moose!! White arctic foxes have a special area , with fences that you drive through , and bears are more of a zoo like experience - fences up that you can see… and NOT drive through.. lol. It was a lovely park.. my only question? How many carrots DO the deer eat daily? And is it safe for them to eat so many?Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 6, 2023
- LiviusItaly35 contributionsSuper!I have been visiting many zoos and parks for work and free time, but this one is amazing. Fauna is 100% North American. We spent there 8+ hrs, and the mood and feeling were great for the whole time. We highly recommend it.Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 7, 2023
- Biscuit44 contributionsAbsolutely amazing place - just wow! This was an amazing place, the whole family loved it. I have never been somewhere where the animals are so tame and willing to approach for carrots. It is like the West Midlands Safari park (U.K.) on steroids. We did two laps round the safari loop and were there from 10 -6pm. An amazing day, one of the best days on our trip. Just take lots of carrots. I think we used up 7 bags of carrots but we loved feeding the animals. The animals were very keen for carrots in the morning (to the point they were waiting by the first cattle grid), the last loop before closing enabled us to see different animals such as the free running wolves and the moose since the park was quieter and cooler. The deer still wanted carrots but it was a calmer experience!Visited August 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 1, 2023

It was extremely pricey $$$ for what it is! It took a while before we got to see the wolves up close and that was short lived.
Compared to other animals in the park, the wolves seemed to have a small area. If you have a lot of money and don't care about paying so much to see wolves through a window then it's ok. If you think it's quite expensive and hope it's worth it, it's not.
It is definately not worth the price they charge, not even at 50%. At the time my husband and I went it was $700 a night and didn't include the tour of the park!! I heard it includes the tour now but it absolutely doesn't justify charging so much.

My children and I arrived at the wolf bain at 3:30 pm excited about our long anticipated stay. We packed up and left the chalet five hours later cold, hungry and very disappointed. I was shocked by the complete lack of customer support (as well as the lack of heat, functioning kitchen and blankets in this $1000.00 per night accomodation). Despite my repeated requests in both French and English to have these issues addressed, my children remained huddled in the 13 degree luxury chalet, cold and hungry yet determined not to give up on this opportunity to "sleep with the wolves".
The management response was shocking. There was no apology for the broken heat, lack of blankets, and non-functioning stove and microwave - not even a place to warm up or a warm drink. Instead they dismissed the situation by saying that it was not their fault that their attempts to fix these basic issues failed. After five hours of trying not to disappoint my children I gave up, got a refund and left.
The silver lining is that we drove to the Chateau Montebello where we were immediately offered exceptional customer service and amenities (including hot chocolate to warm us up) at one quarter of the price.
This is the first time in over 30 years of travel that I have left a review but I am doing so in hopes that others do not have my experience.
Also, this experience is in no way reflective of the day at Parc Omega itself. My children and I had a wonderful day encountering wildlife and exploring the walking trails.

This was my second trip, and as always, a lot of fun, especially for those who haven't been before. The four-legged greeters upon arrival are always fun but be sure to save a few carrots for the fallow deer who roam around the rest stop further into the park and will come up to you. This time, we discovered the Wolf observation area near the rest stop. It was feeding time and so we were treated to the whole pack feeding a few feet beyong the glass walls. The guide there was excellent and answered all questions in French and English. A delightful day.

Three of us went here and had a lot of laughs. The deer try snd put their heads right into the car if you leave your window open in order to get a carrot. They are very entertaining. You can drive a car from them that you rent for an additional $114.00 instead of your own if you wish. We saw lots of animals.

We stayed in a Wi-tent, after staying in the Prospector Cabins in previous years. When we showed up the tent was VERY warm, and no windows of course to cool it down. I left the screen doors to breathe the tent out and it was very comfortable by evening, but something to consider for other travelers as there was no fan or other cooling source if you're sensitive to heat.
The tent was well equipped, clean and spacious. The deer were right on site. Unlike last year (due to Covid), the boardwalks over the bears and wolves were open and were a huge hit with the kids. There is some construction going on in the mornings; I believe they are replacing boards. This did not bother us in the slightest even though we could hear it. Again, only noteworthy if you are sensitive to those kinds of distractions. The staff was super friendly.

Bought tickets online as required in advance of visit. Due to COVID interprovincial travel restrictions we could not go to the park. Called and emailed multiple times (BEFORE and since reservation time) asking for a refund and no response.

Oméga Park was so much fun. The kids (2 & 6) were thrilled to see so many animals and feed them. We weren’t sure how big of a bag of carrots we would get and were surprised the bags were so big! We took our time driving and spent almost two hours on the road course.
When we went there was only a small « drive through » snack shop with very limited food options so I would recommend packing a pic-nic lunch as there are tables set up.

We rented the four wheeler to tour the Parc which we loved! It allowed us to get close to the animals and have some fun driving along the way - and not worry about our vehicle (we were told two windshields got broken that day by the Buffalo). We got a kick out of the bold animals coming right up to us and stopping us in our tracks!
We also slept in one of the wolf cabins. In the small enclosure, it was easy to keep an eye on the wolves throughout our time and it truly was a unique experience. We were surprised to see that there weren’t kitchen facilities to cook in, like the photos showed! Luckily I packed in a way that didn’t rely on a stove of any sort.
Overall, we loved this experience and highly recommend it to anyone, especially with young kids.

I’ve been coming to park omega since it open some 30 years ago (I was just a small kid)… in recent years they’ve done some major upgrades to their infrastructure. It’s looking great! The back balcony of the main building is now a lovely spot to eat and rest while looking over the lake. The food is much more elevated and they’ve added a Quebec product grocery store with many items a foodie would love.
The animals remain as magic as ever.
A must do stop if you’re near Montreal or Ottawa

Hi Jaclikestotravel, what month did you stay at the Omega Park? We are thinking of going next November. Just wondering what part of the year is best to stay at Omega Park. Did wolves come right up to the glass windows outside of the wolf lodge?

Can a compact car handle the paths of the park? I'm probably going to rent something like a Chevrolet Spark and drive from Ottawa.
