If you appreciate classical music, you'll enjoy an evening of live performance at this music camp. The hall is more intimate than a concert hall but very accommodating. Parking is ample, fees modest and the grounds are lovely. Who could want for more on a summer evening?

If ever in La Malbaie region of Quebec one has to take a minimum of 2 hours to walk the grounds of Domaine Forget and discover numerous larger than life sculptures surrounded by many points of view and you will most probably have the chance to listen to some pianists or singer practice their art.

A fascinating sculpture park created on a steep hillside. We thought we would be visiting a building with sculpture as well but the park auditorium is for music venues which I imagine would be fantastic to enjoy. Unfortunately the music season of events was over so we drove through the park stopping at each hillside terrace to take pictures of... More

Recently had the honour of visiting the grounds of this wonderful world renown music camp where masters of various musical instruments come during the summer months to further train young protégés from all over the world. The afternoon "Concert Apéro" provided me and my friend a wonderful opportunity to listen to a master of the viola and of the base,... More

Went for Sunday musical brunch. Very tasty and varied choices. Live music and a fantastic view of the St Lawrence Seaway make for a very enjoyable meal.

We enjoyed attending a concert and exploring the park. The combination of the music and the site was special and so enjoyable and inspiring.

We attended their yearly open house if you will on Aug 1st. They had the Molinari quartet playing which was very enjoyable. They added sculptures on the grounds which make it even more appealing.

Our B&B hostess recommended this as a stop on the route between La Malbaie and Baie St Paul and it was indeed lovely. Hard to believe this all used to belong to one family but over the years the property has changed hands and purposes and now the terraced gardens feature colourful larger than life sculptures. They offer classical music... More

We have been to Domaine for four years now to listen to the music and enjoy the spectacular views from the campus. During the afternoon before any concert you can hear the young musicians practicing their works. There is also a beautiful garden on the grounds.

I have no doubt that the Domaine Forget lives up to its reputation as an excellent music camp and to the numerous musical events it hosts during the summer months. However, our stay was February 2015 and was not a pleasant one. We rented a studio for 2 nights and left after one with no reimbursements. We were charged for... More
