We stopped at several PEI beaches. Each one is a little different...different plants, even color of sand. Beautiful!!

If you love the beach, then this is one to go visit, its a very beautiful long sandy beach with a life guard on duty. There is an old wharf you can walk on, beautiful scenery and the water is nice, lots of waves.. You can watch the fishing boats and tour boats go out and come back in, there... More

Great spot that avoids the throngs of cavendish. Clean beach and amenities, crisp water and great biking trail if you're so inclined.

We found this hidden gem of a beach on our third trip through this area. This beach isn't as crowded as Cavendish. It also has free parking and no entry fees. Another advantage is that it is close to a good restaurant, the Blue Mussel Café.

Part of this beach is in the National Park, which requires a pass to use. The easternmost part of the beach is outside of the park and can be accessed by driving to the end Harbourview Drive, and turning left at the very last street sign, which is Breakwater. This is space for about 30 cars along the unpaved road... More

We weren't there for a typical beach day of sunning and swimming. We were there for a late afternoon walk on the beach. It was quiet, clean and a perfect beach for walking, and relaxing. There were some interesting rocks to see, and bits of broken shells. It wasn't crowded . The lighthouse is an added bonus to see.

Always love it here as it is never crowded. If you have a Parks pass, you can access the parking lot via Beah Lane by the ocean or you can access the beach via the path off of Harbourview Drive (bit more of a walk). Shallow water and lots of perfect sand - great for the kids.

Beautiful beach with red sand. Clean water and very few rocks in the sand. The beach is free to visit and parking wasn't too far away from the beach. Restaurants and gift shops close by.
