Stopped due to the advertisements stating that it was the best place to eat in CAVENDISH. Firstly all there is to do is walk from overpriced resturant to overpiced resturant. The whole "Village" is about 9 buildings big and two buildings had "FOR LEASE" signs...More

This place stinks now. What used to be a charming village is now just a tourist trap of a few shops and COWS restaurants. The heritage church is now painted bright green inside with a huge Boom Burger logo on the steeple which is tacky...More

We enjoyed strolling through this replica village for a little while on a summer afternoon. There are several restaurants and stores. Of course this does cater to tourists, so if you don't want a tourist attraction this isn't your place. Highlights are the Anne store,...More

A nice variety of eccentric shops and eatery places. The guise for the village is that it looks like a town in a L. M. Montgomery book about Avonlea. Still could not find a gift !?

Some historic buildings have been moved to the property to simulate the village of Avonlea. However, a number of the buildings were for rent. Worst of all, a historic church building has been turned into a Boom Burger! That is just WRONG!

While a couple of the buildings were historical they had all been moved to the location. Multiple restarants (middle priced) and stores.

This is a modernized old village, full of shops and restaurants. It’s busy and there are better places nearby to eat and shop.

We made a stop at Avonlea Village for lunch and a few souvenirs. They have a good selection of lunch places and shops.

This little village would’ve been great as an outdoor museum. I think maybe it once was, but it’s just food and shopping places, so don’t go unless you want to eat or shop. No historical content.
