This park is great for all ages, lots of wonderful rides for both kids and adults. Small petting zoo. Restaurant food is just ok, so maybe bring a snack.

Loved seeing things from Rainbow Valley & Crystal Palace! Tube slides were amazing. I could go on them all day! They needed more double tubes though. I found the park clean but did notice some scary attractions were not in good working order. As a childless adult, I would definitely go back again for the water park aspect. PS: The... More

Bought my kids a seasons pass to shining waters. There is a wide range of activities to do here: water slides, pool, roller coasters, rides, magic shows, haunted houses, paddle boats, scavenger hunt, snack shops, arcades, petting zoo, picnic areas etc. Opens at 10 am and closes at 7pm...easy to spend a whole day there. Lines can be long, and... More

We LOVED Shining Waters. We arrived at opening time, and stayed as long as we could. There was so much to do for the whole family. Our 3.5 year old was thrilled to have waterslides that were just right for him, and our 8 year old was crazy about the tube slides (as were his father and I!). We all... More

Well again another attraction in cavendish which needs some work.put into it. The areas are dated and in need of up keep. If your not a small child there isn't much to do for 12 year Olds etc... expensive for what they offer.

We have been to Shining Waters at least five times in the last two summers. My kids now ages 7 and 5 love going there. It is definitely a highlight of the PEI vacation. The Park is a great place for younger children, the rides are geared toward little people. My children also love the waterslides. Sometimes it can be... More

A go to place for 2 years now. My then 3 now 4 year old loves it. Even though it's not a huge park it's plenty for one day. Suggestion: maybe a half day pass? We have gone the past 2 years and for 1 adult and one toddler it's $50. The longest we stayed each visit was 2.5hrs. That's... More

Great spot for kids and teens when it comes to the water park. Most attractions beside the water park are geared to younger kids. The only issues I have are you must purchase a pass even if you are just supervising the children. My other issues are the not so shining waters. What is happening with the sludge inside the... Our whole family loved this place! (Got the weekly pass for here, Sandspit, wax museum, and Ripley's.) Water slides were super fun, and nice that there's some rides too. Discovery woods was fun too. Going back again tomorrow!

The water park portion was ok at best. But overall, I don't think this place is worth the price of admission. The new roller coaster was fun, reminded us of our times at Crystal Palace, but everything else, storybook land, etc, were dated, run down and pretty lousy. It has potential to be a great water park, but its got... More
