Although enjoyed by many including the Prime Minister and his wife, County Road Beer closed this spring. The chef however has made his way to Midtown Brewing in Wellington and is now shaping the menu there.

I visited PEC this past weekend and found that County Road has permanently shut it's doors unfortunately. If you are in the county try Midtown Brewing in Wellington, excellent beer and food.

We moved to the county recently and this has become a favorite stop. Great beer, awesome view, friendly staff, and some great food. Also has Hinterland Winery right next door. The setting is beautiful and they have great events held there also.

The BEER, the STAFF, the OWNERS, the FOOD, the dog and the chickens are top NOTCH. However, if you need a screwdriver and a hammer to open a growler, you shouldn't be drinking.... just sayin'.

The brewery has decent beer but they don't know that screw tops caps are readily available. We paid 24 dollars for a growler that came with a sealed metal lid and required a screwdriver and hammer to open! Needless to say that once opened you...More

Hi there Joanne, We are sorry that you had issues opening your growler. Our caps are in fact screw on caps. We do seal them with electrical tape that is common practice when filling growlers; this helps prevent any leakage and helps with preservation of...More
