This should have been a great experience for my kids (ages 6 & 10), but instead we spent most of our time pushing through crowds and waiting in lines. It was at least 30-40+ minutes wait to go on each of the 2 rides and to see the movie. It was almost impossible to build the cars or other challenges with so many kids everywhere and Lego scattered all over the ground. I realize that going over Christmas break would be busier but according to the website, tickets are sold in specific time slots to ‘make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times and reducing crowding’. That was not the case. Many of the displays were also broken (the moulding demo, many buttons in mini land). I’d give it one star based on our experience but the extra is because the movie was awesome.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to rate the attraction. We are sorry to read that we were not able to meet your expectations. We do sell limited number of tickets by time; however, Christmas Break and March Break can get more crowded than other times. Our onsite tech team is working hard to keep all the displays and interactives working at all times. We do hope that you saw more thatn the one move as we do rotate 3 different movies daily. Sincerely, Rene G. General Manager

While my family and i had fun today and I have lots of positives to say, it's very important that people understand how young this place skews. The 2 rides (everything was functional) and the open area concept with similar attractions you'd see in a McDonalds play area make this place a lot more fun for very little kids. I went with a 2 year old, a 5 year old and a 7 year old and it is the 2 year old who had the most fun. Not to say the rest didn't, they did, but it was the 2 year old who never got bored. He really loved seeing the cars race. There is definitely enough to do for it to be worth it for the price you pay for the kids. HOWEVER, since there isn't much for the adults accompanying them, the fact that you are paying the price of 2 tickets for the enjoyment of 1 child (if you go 1 parent for each child) makes it quickly expensive. Luckily, there are many ways to get free tickets for a child, like on the cheaper lego polybags that I ended up only paying for 1 ticket per child/parent combo. Adding to that the fact that we went in a weekday where there werent many people, we basically had the rides to ourselves and it all really felt worthwhile.

Now here is what I find really commendable followed by my biggest critique/constructive criticism.

Commendable: I was very surprised by how affordable the food at the cafe was. I didn't feel the need to step out to go to the mall cafeteria or bring any food/snacks from home. While this plays skews young, they do in returns make it easy for families by having affordable food items for kids to eat and changing rooms, and even very tiny water fountains. So good job for that.

Constructive criticism: In the area where you build your own car to race and test, there are some crucial lego pieces missing. You have these massive wheels with spokes at the center but no piece to lock in that spoke. So you are stuck making very thin cars which don't really look like cars. Would be an easy fix. Either have pieces to lock in the cross spokes or have big wheels which clip on with the other options.

Cheers!

Great time had by Grandparents and 5 year old Granddaughter. A bit pricey but if you take advantage of the rides and the Movie it is definitely worth the experience. It was well managed (only a short line-up at the Cafe and we founds seating) and well organized given that kids were still on XMAS break so a very busy place just after New Year's day.

I have 3 boys ages 4, 6 and 11 and we have the seasons pass for Sunday-Friday (as I would not dare go when its busy or on a Saturday anyway). Have to say my kids love coming here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids also love that since we have a seasons pass and it's basically free for us to get in, I let them get a small lego set on the way out (which we also get a discount for being seasons pass members). My kids love the rides, the movies and building the lego racers!!

This is a terrible place. Charging the same fee for adults and toddlers is criminal. Most of the interactive displays didn't work and/or had maintenance posters on it. The staff are very unengaged and we didn't see anyone santizing anything while we were there. The cafe is fine but pretty unhealthy. The grilled cheese reality did not match the poster display. They advertise this place to be designed for 3-12 year olds but the main playground is meant for 4-12 year olds only. The three year old section was a small stool under the main playground. a small stool. We bought the digital photo pass for $10 and their camera wasn't working. The staff said we have to walk through the entire thing again to get our photo. Why should we be inconvenienced for their broken equipment? I requested a refund and am still waiting.

Bottom line, if you're iffy about going, don't go. You WILL be disappointed.

Hi Emma, Thank you for taking the time to rate the attraction. We are saddened to read that we have not been able to meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments and are actively addressing some or your comments - especially the one about the staff net being engaged. Our dedicated Tech Team is working hard to keep all the interactive stations running at all times and all the units are checked daily before we open. Unfortunately sometimes things break and finding spare parts takes now longer with all the supply chain issues. We will address the photo issues with our Photo Partners and see that they get the things sorted soon. Sincerely, Rene G. General Manager

Given the cost of this experience I would not recommend it. The $37 ticket with a “free gift” was the same for all 4 tickets which felt incredibly redundant - an option should exist. Our 4/6 year olds enjoyed the play structure. The free play area to build cars and drive them was chaotic at best with little to no staff supervision. We bought the add on for the stamp pass for the tickets and it was not given to us.

Younger kids were being knocked over by 12+ year olds who were running all over the area, and the store at the end was chaotic and disorganized, as well as somewhat under stocked. With hindsight I would have sooner taken my kids to the lego store at Sherway and let them spend that $150 on more lego instead of the “discovery centre”

Took the family on the weekend, my kids are 6 and 4. Driving from Hamilton my kids were pretty excited the whole way in the car. When we arrived check in was quick and efficient. They had many different areas for kids to play and visit. Although I will say we thought it would be a day adventure and we were out in 2 hours. There are cool things to see and do for the kids but I think it could have been more interactive. I felt that my kids thought there would be more for them as well. They have a cool play area for kids where the food court is that my kids enjoyed. If your kids are going watch them carefully because some of the houses are not to safe for little ones and the bigger kids can be nasty. Harsh but true... The food court like most is very overpriced, we brought stuff with us knowing it would be the usual. All in all my kids enjoyed it but have never asked to go back or even mentioned it again. That tells a parent a lot. Just my honest review, not trying to knock it. Cheers

I can imagine this place was was much grander when it was first built. It now shows its age with many of the models and attractions broken and/or disrepair. For the amount of money it costs, it would seem the owners would care about their product. I would be embarassed.

The staff was amazing and very friendly One of the rides was out of order. The theatre was under maintenance. Several of the other small machines were out of order. Legoland has had two years to get this into tip too shape for post Covid conditions and I was surprised they didn’t give a discount as the experience was bound to be under 100%. Seems that is the norm these days. It’s great fun for kids, how we be aware that it’s a lot of money for less than is advertised.

Hi wwtraveller101, Thank you for taking the time to rate the attraction. We are sorry to read that we were not able to meet your expectations. We apologise for that some of the interactive were unavailable during your visit. Our maintenance team is working hard to keep all the displays running but unfortunately sometimes they fail us and we have not been spared with supply chain issue. The theatre gave up earlier this month and having the system still running on XP called for entire upgrade and re-programming. We are happy to read the the kids had great fun. Sincerely, Rene G. We went to the Discovery and had a blast! Awesome and impressive set up. My kids ( 8 & 5) really enjoyed themselves. It is busy, loud, and a lot of stimulus for those who have children with disabilities like we do but nonetheless- a great time was had! The only thing I wish I woulda known was only to buy one digital photo ticket cuz you only need one per family
