A liitle old and a little new

A very good, well maintained and interesting 27 hole golf course. The original 18 was built in 1926 and 9 holes were added much later. The club has excellent practice facilities... read more

This 27-hole golf course is the grande dame of courses in the area, and deservedly so. Immaculate fairways and unblemished greens highlight challenging holes that will be of interest to golfers of all levels. It is extremely lush in trees and shrubs, but not so ravenous of balls as unkempt flora can be. Pleasant and accommodating pro shop staff help... More

Unless you are a member, you could be treated like an unwelcomed guest ...paid over $80 on a Wednesday to play a decent course...so much more available locally (Blackhorse, Legacy Ridge) that the value is not there for the money

A very good, well maintained and interesting 27 hole golf course. The original 18 was built in 1926 and 9 holes were added much later. The club has excellent practice facilities and a modern clubhouse. Summer rates are about $85.00 which is top money for this quality of course. We played one of the old and the new nine. Being... Saugeen has never disappointed in our many sojourns in the area over the years. This semi-private course offers a choice of 27 holes, each well-manicured and challenging. The Sunset 9 are all well-treed and can be narrow, but course management will be rewarded over 3000 yards you shoot. The Sunrise 9 are more open over a slightly shorter experience, but... More

If you're a golfer and visiting Southampton, then find time to tee it up at Saugeen Golf Club. This park-like golf course was well maintained - the fairways were neat, the tee boxes were well kept, and the greens were nicely manicured. The different tee boxes helped to ensure my game was fairly well matched with my husband, and that's... More

Having been a member at the club years ago. It has come along way in the last 25 years. The course itself is kept immaculate. Hats off to the grounds keepers. Challangig dog legs a few elevated greens, narrow and wide fairways, some water. Not so forgiving rough and some tricky pin placements. It has it all. I played to... More

There are no mountains in Southampton, but the architect has tried very hard to make this golf course interesting for you. Several holes have slightly elevated tees. Many have water hazards, and there are enough bunkers to challenge even the low handicapper. With 27 holes Saugeen Golf Club can manage to get you a good tee time even when they... More
