Went to Pumpkin Inferno on a Thursday night, and crows were good. We made dinner reservation at 5:00 for Willards Hotel, so we didn't wait in any lines. ( last year we went on a Saturday night and waited in line for 2 hrs, just to get in ) The pumpkins were amazing, and beautiful. My favorites were the Chinese... More

If you need inspiration on how to carve your pumpkin this is the place to go. The pumpkin display is breath-taking especially the pumpkin symphony. It is more of a Harvest/Pumpkin display than a Halloween exhibit for anyone who does not celebrate Halloween. Despite being a very cold Sunday night there were many visitors. We had an excellent supper at... More

This was an awesome and inspiring spectacle view with over 6000 pumpkins carved with a variety of designs that were located all over the village Absolutely great for the kids of all ages. A must see attraction! Unfortunately its only on for a specific time and gate is open at 7:00 PM Thursday thru the weekend.

Used to go to Upper Canada Village when the kids were young and had school trips. After so many years gone by we went back for some nostalgic time. We all had a great time. The people are friendly and very helpful. The tour of all the heritage homes was very informative and seeing all the 1800's items still in... More

I made it to see this attraction this year and was a bit disappointed. It was truly a neat sight to see the Village alit with the orange glow at night and creative displays. The problem I had was that I have been lead to believe from the advertising that I was going to see 1000's of REAL jack-o-lanterns when... More

This is a great learning experience for children, In fact when my daughter was in grade school, her class went on a field trip and had such a great time learning about life as it was before all our luxuries. I highly recommend it.

This is a GREAT living museum. I've been to quite a few of them, so I was surprised by how much I learned about apples, cheese-making, tin smithing, broom making, wool production and the St Lawrence canal system. All of this is because the staff is fabulous. Real tradesmen are there producing items in keeping with the 1860 theme of... More

The village and displays plus the actors / representatives are great. There is plenty of parking with easy access from highway 410. I suggest you plan at least 4 hours to do your tour as a minimum and arrive early so as to get ahead of school tours or tour bus groups. The village provides a unique view into Canadian... More
