This was perfect for a family trip. The drive was far enough from Toronto and from Ottawa (we met other family) to feel like you're truly getting away but its not such a far drive. It's very pretty a d there was plenty to do on the water with young kids.

We were visiting our very dear friends who have made their home on Cecebe Lake. We went for a boat ride on a most glorious Sunday, we passed the Lighthouse during our adventure. Replica of the original, very cute sitting on the lake, once you see the lighthouse it is like a beacon, we know we are close to our friends home. The boat ride is so relaxing, we love the lake, swimming is always great, just floating around in the water, not a care in the world.
