The Town needs to do more with Cedar Beach...such a hidden gem, that more tourists need to know about...would be better if the town would manicure it every 2nd day throughout the summer, including weekends.

Cedar Beach is a wonderful attraction and I see they are improving it all the time but the washrooms could use some updating. The play area is in need of some sprucing up as well but all in all a pleasant experience.

We live close by and love walking to the beach and enjoying it for a day. We come here often in the summer. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous.

This is an excellent beach for summer swimming. There is always parking, and lots of space on the beach. We often go there in summer.

This is very close to the city. It looked like it could be nice but there was so much debris in the water it was not appealing. In addition there is an E. Coil warning posted which basically states, “ If it rained or was windy good possibility E. Coli could be in water”. Well it was rainy and windy the day before. I didn’t go on vacation swim in a toilet. That might be harsh but that’s the reality. We got in the car and went back to our rental.

My wife and some friends spent the day at Cedar Beach on Labor Day this past weekend. It's a beautiful, clean beach and the water was absolutely gorgeous! As it's a public beach, there's no admission fee. Even though it was sweltering hot, we still had a great time. I suspect the heat may have kept people away as it was not busy at all. If you are looking for a nice beach to spend the day at, Cedar Beach is worth checking out.

We live about a mile away and I go past the beach when I take my boat out. It is s nice beach but is closed most of the summer due to high bacteria counts. Years ago we did not have these issues but as more people decide to make Kingsville their home, the worse our water gets here in the lake. Expect ear, eye and sinus infections.
