The Bowmanville Valleys conservation area includes the fish ladder. Trout use the ladder as well as salmon, but at different times of the year. You should check their website for details. This recommendation is based on the entire area, not just the fish ladder. The...More

If you get a chance to see the fish ladder when the salmon or trout are running it is incredible. Well done Valleys 2000 for getting it built.

Happened to be a great sunny day and the fish were cooperating very well! Parking was available, just follow the asphalt trail and you can't miss it.
