There is everything in this place. From your normal food shop to treats especially local to Nova Scotia, wine and beer, and tourist gifts and jewellery. Nice cafe inside and also an ice cream stand. The bakery food is delicious. And the staff are always friendly.

Marvelous place to stop and get produce. There is also a bakery with lots of variety, a deli, ready to serve dishes, plants and giftware, etc. etc. Easy to spend a couple of hours here.

People have been speaking positively about this place for years . Until recently , I couldn't understand how a visit to a market , in the middle of a very sparsely populated area , could be a good experience . I was definitely caught off guard . The Market has a casual restaurant that offers above average products . You... More

Had heard about the Gluten Free Fish&Chips they make here, but had no idea how good they were! I thought at first that you had to order special for GF, but turns out they're made the same way for everyone. Not very often you see people lined up for GF food, but they do here (most of them probably don't... More

The haddock was fresh, the batter was light and the weather was great. Couldn't ask for better. The two piece portion was large enough for two. A local couple in front of us had been there 3 days in a row - a great testimonial!

Great spot with fresh veggies and fruit. Prices were amazing for the fresh produce. Prices on meat and other products were expensive. The wait for cash was a little much. They do not have enough cashiers or help for bagging. We will be back for fresh produce and the beautiful nautical/country decor they have as well.

We are traveling by RV and always welcome a place where you can get fresh produce. The strawberries here were the sweetest I have ever eaten and the bluberries were equally as good. They had a small grocery where we could pick up a couple of things we needed. Grocery was not the cheapest but it was convenient. There is... More

I have been going to Masstown Market for years. My family are all huge fans. I like the location, as I always seem to need a break right about there. Also I love that masstown kind of covers all the bases. Food, bathroom, groceries, liquor, gifts. I like going there for veggies as they have a big variety. However the... More

I don't think I can drive by Masstown Market without stopping in. During a recent trip to NB I discovered that they have renovated the women's washroom, adding more stalls! Bonus....no more long lines!
