Our tour guide was very knowledgeable with how the whisky was made. It was informative, tasty (!) and entertaining. I would recommend this if you enjoy learning about whisky. The grounds are nicely kept and service at the bar was good.

Firstly the buildings and their surroundings are magnificent and we had a very good tour which was informative and interesting. The shop however I found quite baffling. I've been to many distilleries, including a few in Nova Scotia, and have never before seen all alcohol...More

Here for a Cape Breton (Cabot) golf trip. Glendora is about 10 minute drive away. Food in the pub and the restaurant is identical and outstanding. No reservations if not staying at the Inn a potential problem but arriving early made that a non issue....More

My wife an I stayed at the Cabot Golf Resort in Inverness and the food there was OK. Someone mentioned that we should try Gleonra and the found the food to be excellent. We did not take a tour of the distillery...so no comment there....More

In the past couple of days I have enjoyed two delicious lunches at the distillery. I enjoyed the fish cakes and the lobster roll, both of which were great. On both occasions, we enjoyed local entertainment, fiddle tunes, with piano. We will return again .

We took the tour and found it very interesting. At the end of the tour you will be offered a tasting of the whiskey. There is a gift shop and the grounds are very pretty.

During a trip around the Cabot Trail with friends we stopped at GIAD to enjoy lunch and a tour - it did not disappoint. Lively local entertainment accompanied a great wine selection and phenomenal lobster sandwich.

Excellent food in an upscale atmosphere although a little on the pricey side for what you get. My wife had a pork chop that was huge and cooked absolutely just right. Super friendly staff.
