2nd time around after a 20 year break and the place is still remarkable but more touristy. The family had a nice trip around the coast and we saw and lot and leaned a lot too!

We drove clockwise on the Cabot Trail which runs through the National Park and on the edges. It is spectacular scenery. Be sure to take several days and stop along the way as it is too beautiful to miss.

We have visited this Park several times and always enjoyed our time there. This visit coincided with major road repairs on the Cabot trail. It has to be done I guess between the tourist season and winter coming on. It was very disturbing though. More...More

There has been a lot of work done in the park since my last visit - plenty of well paved look offs. Stunning views. Fall is a fantastic time to travel the Cabot Trail with the tress all ablaze!

Apologies. The entire Cabot trail is long. Probably 6 hrs drive. It goes all around the island. The western part is nicest.

We spend two or three days each year looking for moose. Overnight in Cheticamp and overnight in Pleasant Bay (Mid-Trail motel). Cheticamp has more choices for food and accommodation. Skyline trail is a nice walk.
