Lovely hike through mature forest. Trail is easy to follow with steps in some of the more challenging areas. There is a lookoff about 2/3 up that is a great spot to stop for a break. The view at the top will take your breath away!...More

This view of Middle Head and Smokey in one direction, and then if you look to the left down along the coast towards Green Cove, is one the great ones along the Cabot Trail; especially on the south side.

I think I enjoyed this hike almost as much as the skyline trail hike. The views from the top were absolutely worth the very uphill, but short hike. It probably took about 45 minutes to go to the top (all uphill). At the top is...More

This trail wasn't that difficult. There were a lot of stairs. Midway we saw a nice overlook, but once at the top, beauty was everywhere. The view was amazing! There were a few chairs to sit on for those who were tired. How can we...More

We recently stayed at the Broad Cove Campground and managed to get some hiking in. Like most of the "highlands", Broad Cove is fantastic and the hiking is great.

A pretty short, pretty steep hike. Maybe an hour and a half to two-hours total. Very doable and beautiful view at the top. Worth it.

We really enjoyed this great hike through the woods and up to an excellent viewpoint. There is an adirondack chair and bench at the top for resting and taking in spectacular views. It takes about 2 hours total. Parking is easy and it's also by...More
