Lovely hike into the falls, and I recommend taking the longer loop back which takes you along a river. The hike is easy and relaxing and the falls are beautiful.

Lovely easy hike to the falls! We took a wrong turn and ended up hiking longer than planned, and in the process discovered vandalism on the park service signs, so be sure you have studied the map before heading out. The falls are gorgeous. I...More

The fall is not so popular and thus is pretty secluded. The road is unpaved and the Visitor Center is next to non existent. Now ignoring the above if you are a nature buff this falls will for sure make you happy. The walk through...More

Probably spectacular when the island has had rain. A little disappointing on our visit after much hype. Know what the weather has been before committing time to the hike.

Love this hidden gem. I have been doing this hike since I was a kid and still love it. Easy walk about 4.5 km if you take the long way around.

We liked that the park offers two choices for the hike -- one shorter and one longer (and you can take a shortcut if you start out on the longer path). Cool spot at the falls when you get there.

We took the shorter trail to the falls. It was a great little hike through the woods! The trail follows the stream for a few kms until it turns into a giant waterfall. We took a little trail off to the side of the waterfall...More

Beautiful hike. It was a fairly easy hike we did the shorter loop. The falls are beautiful. There are lots of views of the river throughout the hike.

Which meant two things , firstly we got incredibly wet , right through to the unmentionables , secondly we were the only visitors there , magic . Possibly slightly difficult to find without good directions , the falls are a short drive from Baddeck ....More

It is an easy walk and best done leisurely. I think that 1.5 hrs. is plenty of time, and allows for stops and taking time to enjoy the falls and other sites along the way.
