Recommended to us by a local and a nice change of pace from typical touristy things. It’s only about a 20-25 minute walk/hike into the Falls. It’s not a hard walk but would be a little bit of a push with a stroller. It’s fairly...More
A small hike in, beautiful waterfall. A special place to go in Baddeck! An awesome waterfall! Wear comfortable shoes in, we were in there about 1 1/2 hours total for hike and time taking pics. Beautiful drive to the falls as well.
Trail was easy to find. We were were the only people there on a weekday morning which was a minor concern leaving the car, but no issues. This is an easy hike, more or a walk really suitable for anyone who does not have mobility...More
We happened to see we were near this park and decided to go explore. It’s an easy hike with lots of rocks and roots. Closed shoes is better. You hear the brook all along the way and see some impressive trees growing on rocks it’s...More
Hiked in with my spouse along a fairly easy trail as long as you pay attention to where you place your feet. The trickling stream parallels the trail and when you reach the falls after about a kilometre and half hike the falls are spectacular....More
This was a great hike to start our day with! Beautiful scenery, flowing water all the way in, until the final climb up to the big falls! Stunning views. The bugs weren’t horrible either. We had sprayed bug spray before entering the trail as it...More

3km return hike. Beautiful, small falls some neat views along the way.
River, trees growing atop rocks, birds, etc.
Would recommend hiking shoes or sneakers at the very least as the path can be muddy as well as roots protruding from the ground. The base...More

I have only had the pleasure of this hike once, in early October. But i would expect it would still be lovely. As mentioned, leaves might make the footing slippery in places, as would any light snow or ice that might be showing up. A walking stick is a good idea for anyone. But one of the highlights for our group was the moss covered tree roots draped over huge boulders. Would be beautiful in any season. Enjoy!
