Which meant two things , firstly we got incredibly wet , right through to the unmentionables , secondly we were the only visitors there , magic . Possibly slightly difficult to find without good directions , the falls are a short drive from Baddeck . Easy path ( flooded in heavy rain !!) but not suited to strollers due to... More

This is a short drive from Baddeck and worth a look. The walk gets a little rough so trainers rather than sandals is probably a good idea. The fall is pretty but not spectacular.

We had big hopes for this hike at the end of a splendid day. We started out at about 4 hours to sunset. That seemed to be plenty of time for a relatively short hike. About 1/2 of the way in, we realized the sun was setting behind a mountain, making the trail much darker than the parking lot. We... More

The road getting there is a bit rough but the trail itself is good. We spent about two hours here in total. The only thing complain about is people can be a little inconsiderate. Everyone is going there to see the waterfall... So maybe don't spend 20 mins sitting in the falls so that no one else can take pictures.

The drive may be a little discouraging to some (a couple of miles of gravel road) but the hike itself is relatively short and moderately easy. The woods almost look like a rain forest with all of the growth and moisture. Many views of mountains caught our attention.

14km drive from Baddeck and 1 km walk leads through woods to stunning falls. Go in the morning to avoid the bugs.

It's a beautiful hike that's not too strenuous. There are two ways to go around. You can go straight to the falls or veer off to go by the river.

On a sunny day, we bug sprayed ourselves as it was buggy where we parked and thought it would be more so on the hike; we were right. The path was narrow in parts with some wooden supports. There were lots of exposed tree roots, rocks and some mud but there were usually ways around the area. The area was... More

River cascading over rocks next to the trail is gorgeous as well as the pretty trees that line the trail. The waterfall at the top is very pretty ..there are platforms over the river in a couple places for a great view
