Hike

Great little walk and hike in..took the river path first to see the rushing water, and then onto the big waterfall! Great location and easy enough

this is an easy hike traversing lovely terrain where you may find mushrooms and orchids. The waterfall is lovely and there are benches for enjoying the views.

My husband and I vacationed in Cape Breton in October 2016 to attend Celtic Colours. We stayed in a B&B in Aberdeen and were directed to the falls when we asked locals about an easy hike. From reading the reviews of others, I think we were directed to a trailhead off the beaten path - we actually parked behind a... More

Relatively easy. We did it with a group of 8. Wonderful! The falls are beautiful and would be a great place to picnic.

Short hike along a brook to big rocks and a view up to the falls. You can't get too close, but good enough for a picture. This is not a stroll. The path has LOTS of roots to step over or slip on, so you spend most of the hike looking down to avoid tripping. The loop is almost entirely... More

We were recommended this walk by our hosts at our B&B. It's a long drive north of Baddeck to get there and you think you will never reach it. It's well worth the drive there as it is peaceful and the waterfall is a surprise when you eventually find it.

We spent 1 hour walking the trails here to see the falls. There is a map on the board at the trailhead. To form a loop hike, we chose to take the right path first, then cut through to the path for the falls, then back on the most direct route to the parking lot. There are many “You Are... More

On a cloudy October day, hubby and I decided to do this hike, it was a very easy hike. Views at the end were amazing. We hiked up further to see all of the highest fall. Well worth it.
