St. Paul’s is a beautiful church that you can easily visit as you stroll thru historic Trinity. The church both inside is made of unpainted timber to give it a warm feeling. Definitely worth the stop.

I visited Newfoundland and Trinity in September 2023. I was specifically looking for my ancestor's gravesite (and found it). He came over in 1777 from England and was a master shipbuilder. There are thousands of descendants now! Trinity was so quaint and picturesque. What a beautiful, peaceful place.

Worth the peak into this picturesque church in the center of town. Not like anything I had previously come across - a slight bavarian vibe perhaps?

A walk through the delightful village should include a stop here at the St Paul's Anglican Church. It is open during the day.

The setting for this church is very pretty - the sea in one direction, hills in the other, and the town itself, speckled with woodframe houses of every colour.
The church itself is also very pretty: white, green, red trim. Classic.
Inside is austere - old, old beams, left unpainted.
There's an interesting sculpture at the back of the church, I think it's part of the baptismal font.
It's nice that the door to this church was open (I visited on a weekday), so I could see inside.

Amazing in what is still a tiny village would have a beautiful church that holds a 1000 people. Sit down in the pews and imagine what it must have been like over a 100 years ago. Trinity is meant to walk around in and this church is a must stop to truly appreciate this amazing little place.

We stopped into to this iconic church. It is definitely a step by in time. The wooden interior is beautiful and the musty smell sets a reverent tone. This church’s contains many beautiful trimmings and is worth the visit. The half sunken head stone in the side yard are a creepy Halloween setting!

This church dominates the town of Trinity with its white, grey, and red colours. It is the third church to have stood in this spot - begun in 1892. The interior is lovely with wood everywhere and large stain glass windows. The adjoining cemetery is very interesting with many old graves stones - many from the 18th and 19th centuries - some practically illegible.
On the other side of the church is a memorial stone to John Clinch (1749 - 1819) known for bringing the Jenner vaccine (smallpox) to North America not long after it development.
The Town of Trinity is well worth the visit. There are many historic buildings that can be looked at, or in some cases, entered. There are also some lovely hikes.

This is a beautiful 19th century Gothic Revival style church. it is the third Anglican church on, or near, this site. It was built between 1892 - 1894.

As far as I know the time for services varies with the seasons. I don't believe that there is a minister permanently assigned to the church. Then again, I could be mistaken.
