Amazing views from the lookout. My son enjoyed decoded the signal flags message of the day. The museum provides the history of the lives of the keepers and their families. As well as how the light house evolved over the years.

I confessed to the ranger on duty that I hadn't paid a park entrance fee - but would do next day. She felt that was fine and forced a home-baked (by her) molasses cookie on me. So suitably bribed - let me tell you the...More

Such a great historic area! The tour inside is self guided although staff are there to answer questions. The history of the lighthouse is well preserved and interesting. The grounds are well maintained scenic.

Wow. What a wonderful addition to a favourtie spot. Our Parks Canada hostess was super engaging in three languages. Notwithstanding her Rock solid affability. The story boards, photos and artifacts really add to your Lighthouse experience on The Rock.

Not far from the highway, good parking and a opportunity to see the inside of an old lighthouse and a get an idea of the life of the light keeper.
