We wanted a day of golf on our tour of Newfoundland and this golf and stay day was perfect. Clean & modern accomodations, friendly staff and a great pub with tasty food. The course is challenging or should I say was designed by a sadist! Ravine holes and natural areas abound this course. Very well tended, great shape and I... More

My colleagues and I booked some rooms few weeks before our trip because of the good reviews. The place looked very nice from the outside although we noticed afterwards that there were a lot of renovations in the outside and in some of the rooms. We had to switch rooms because not all the rooms given to us had fridges... More

We rented this cottage for my parents as it was our Dad's 85th birthday and wanted to treat them to something special. We decided to rent a 3 bedroom and have friends stay with them for the night. We held an open house in the afternoon to celebrate our Dad's 85th birthday and 45 people showed up over a 3... More

hotel room was standard, sink in bathroom could be updated, otherwise room was fine. Should be taking advantage of the fact there is a salmon river running behind the property that guests could be taking advantage of, maybe in advertising this could be a way to get more people to stay at the resort if they are not into golfing.... I normally play this course only once a year and it's usually in great shape. Not so much today. The tee boxes are in really rough shape and the fairways are what the rough usually is, so the rough was really... rough. Oddly, the greens were quite good. May play again, but not until August/Sept.

I attended a friends wedding here in July . The setting is beautiful with a surrounding golf course. It boasts a swimming pool for guests. There are also chalets that can be rented as well as the hotel rooms. The meal for the wedding was amazing and so tasty with more than enough on the plate. Service was wonderful with... More

There was a large wedding, either the day before or after, when were there. So a lot of people partying near our room. The rooms were very thin. So it was not easy to sleep. We did have a nice dinner and breakfast there. The ladies that worked there were nice. For dinner my husband had steak and I had... More

We had a lovely stay at The Wilds - two families so rented a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom cottage. These were not close to one another so not ideal for our group but they were so well appointed, clean and comfortable that we didn't mind the trek. We had a bonfire one evening outside the deck of the... More
