I'm so glad I booked this activity. I was in contact with Kevin a few days before the scheduled date, to ensure the weather would be suitable for a night out. He was always quick to reply and answered all my questions.
I enjoyed a great night out with clear skies, warm weather and a beautiful moonrise.

Kevin provided detailed instructions on how to get the most of night photography, what settings to use, composition tips, etc.

Time flew quickly, and at the end of the session, I managed to get a few memorable photos. But, even if the pictures would not have been that good, I really enjoyed my time out there admiring the sky.

Don't miss it.

This was the most unique photography workshop I have ever done! Kevin was a very personable and cheerful guide with lots of stories to tell. He had the tour down to a science, moving us seamlessly around the rocks and showing us the optimal places to shoot from in the dark. He showed us how to get the most out of our camera, the settings to use, and simple tricks and tools of the trade. The tour was very well organized, orchestrated, and moved along quickly. It was a great way to spend the night - and we have incredible photos to show from it! Thank you, Kevin! It was a honour to photograph the Rocks with you!

Hopewell rocks is an amazing place but going on the night photography takes to it to an even higher level. I am not a photographer. In fact, I only take pictures by luck using the auto and preset features. I also do not own a DSLR camera but luckily, my bridge camera met the requirements. At the end of the night, I have awesome pictures, marvelous experience and walk away with knowledge on how to take great night shots using manual settings (yes, manual!). Kevin does not only show you how to take good pictures but gives you the understanding on how to take good pictures. At first, I was apprehensive about the tide safety and falling rocks but Kevin proved that he knows the park very well, is very conscious of the tide schedule and has very good understanding of the rock behavior. He will not compromise safety. The rocks are beautiful during the day but it has a magical feel at night. You see the rocks in a whole new light. It was cloudy the night we booked and I thought we will come home with not so good pictures but was I wrong! We loved it so much we booked the following night again (luckily, there were available spots). In the 2 nights, we got to see the constellations, milky way, shooting stars, international space station, and aurora borealis. How can you beat that? We had an amazing time and each night, cloudy or clear, offered something new and amazing. I took nice pictures during the day but it does not compare to the ones I took at night with Kevin. I wanted to have my son in the pictures too so it does not look like I just bought a postcard and Kevin was more than happy to accommodate my request. Kevin made taking night pictures a very fun experience. We have been on other photography tours in other cities but this is something else. This is the highlight of our vacation. Our visit would not have been complete without it.

This is a must for photographers of any level. For experienced photographers, Kevin's knowledge of the rock formations will provide optimal compositions. For beginners like me, Kevin's generous teaching style and passion for night sky photography not only gave me great images but the confidence to do this on my own. I was able to take what I learned that night and take great pictures at two other stops. I now find myself looking for spots to shoot the night sky wherever I go. So I guess the only negative thing about this night is that is going to cost me a few thousand dollars as I now want to upgrade to a full frame camera. Just an awesome experience that has ignited a new passion of my own. I would do it again and am hoping Kevin will add other excursions for nights the tide doesn't co-operate.

Hopewell Rocks is a place that I had wanted to visit for quite some time. My first time visiting the rocks was in July with the Creative Imagery - Hopewell Rocks Night Photography Excursion and I was simply blown away. It was incredible seeing the rocks at night with nobody else around.

Kevin is a knowledgable photographer who knows the rocks extremely well. He truly enjoys sharing his passion for both with others.

I highly reccommend this trip.

As a seasoned semi pro photographer I was so impressed. Kevin is an awesome instructor, offering positive feedback. I felt like I was photographing with a good friend but also great teacher. He walked through settings and talked about composition as well as provided lighting. It was a last minute booking but we lucked out with clear skies and perfect conditions. Kevin makes sure you come away some really spectacular photos. He also took some couple pics of me and my fiance and shared them with us. This is a must do for all level photographers! Truly a wonderful experience!

We were lucky to have perfect conditions for night photography. Can't say enough about Kevin Snair - great coach, passionate, patient plus he knows the area very well so no danger of getting caught with rising tide. Great value!!!!! Thanks Kevin.

This 3 hour+ hike to the ocean floor at at night and at low tide with the magnificent Hopewell Rocks looming above us was truly an outstanding experience.

Kevin gives an entertaining and informative description of the surroundings as you make your way along the beach that was just hours earlier had many feet of water covering it.

He guides you to a number of places were you have excellent opportunity to shoot outstanding photos of the Rocks and the night skies in complete darkness. He is very adept at explaining the process and assisting you to set up your camera with the setting that will give you spectacular results. He also employs various lighting techniques that are eye popping.

I VERY HIGHLY recommend this to any photographer.

Thank you. This was one of those evenings when everything aligned. Although the outing is advertised as 2.5 hrs, sometimes it is hard to call it quits when we are having so much fun. Glad you came along.

I have joined Kevin on his excursions twice this summer. He is amazing. His knowledge, personality, great laugh and tremendous passion for photography and the love he has for nature is like no one else ! We went with a group of photographers went this past weekend and the stars lit the heavens like never before. It could be daunting to be walking on the ocean floor in the pitch black night but we all felt save and secure with Kevin. I can't say enough how amazing this was all around. Its an absolutely DO NOT MISS event ! Thanks Kevin Snair for this.

I did an excursion with Kevin at the end of August and thoroughly enjoyed it. His passion for the location and for the art of photography is truly infectious. Seeing the Rocks at night is simply amazing. Seeing the Rocks at night with someone who is as knowledgeable as Kevin is even better! I highly recommend this experience to everyone who has an interest in photography. You will learn a ton and have a fantastic time doing it! Thank you Kevin for the experience. I can't wait to come and do it again!
