We used our two for one discount after visiting Hopewell Rocks. There is a good bit to see here, and not being from New Brunswick we found this helpful to connect us to the history of the area. Some of the audio visual parts were not working when we were here, but there was more than enough to read and... More

We held our wedding there in July 2016. It was a perfect spot! Everything on site (guests are still talking about the delicious meal). It was a really great spot for our kid-guests to run around between the ceremony and reception! Would highly recommend

One of the most fascinating parts of our trip to Hopewell Cape! If you're a history buff, definitely do not miss this. Lots of interesting facts, beautiful artifacts, and ... well, we saved the jail for last - just the right mix of creepy and cool. Plan to spend a lot of time there!

The Albert County Museum is a unique experience in that it preserves not only a range of interesting artifacts but in fact a local community. It has several buildings with pieces that are unique to those environments. The gaol was of particular interest to me and it is a good example and illustration of Canadian jail practices in the mid... More

The young man that took us around was thrilled to share his knowledge with us and my husband enjoyed helping him understand some of the old tools and proper use of them. None rushed, so much to see and do and having someone to actually communicate with that knew his stuff made it all that more rewarding. Great spot, worth... More

We visited the Albert County Museum on October 3rd, 2015. My in-laws are from the area but i had never been there. First time there, our guide Donald was exceptional. He knows his history and did a very good job, answered all of our questions, explained each building and the significance of each. I will definately return next year. I... More

Interesting place to be so out of the way. A man connected to the museum was at the church up the street helping some people with making wedding plans but came down to greet us. Very charming man, answered some questions about things in the museum and we found out he was related to one of the main persons in... More

A nice little museum. Didn't spend too much time as it wasn't that big. Friendly staff. Nice community.

We had time to kill between high and low tides at Hopewell rocks, so we decided to visit. There was a memo in the office door that said we had to go to another building to purchase the tickets. When we got there, there was several people working outside, painting and cleaning. We went in the building, and the two... More

Thank you very much for the feedback. Your visit happened to coincide with a very special day here. On June 12th we had a crew of 11 volunteers from the United Way Day of Caring here to help us spruce things up a bit. Their work is a very much appreciated contribution to the museum. As I am sure you... More

We happened upon the museum this morning while passing through to the rocks. What a fabulous place! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The museum offers an intriguing insight into the history of the region, specifically about RB Bennett. Fascinating exhibitions and beautifully restored buildings. Reading the preserved graffiti on the old gaol house walls was amazing! It wasn't particularly... More
