This hidden gem is located in the quaint, little village of Hillsboroug, just a 15-20 drive from Moncton center. Visitors who seek a great history lesson of the railroad in Canada will love this place. We really enjoyed the old pictures, the stories, the walk...More

My husband really enjoyed looking around this museum and especially climbing onto the footplate of the steam engine. There is a fascinating display of artefacts, including some old uniforms. The staff are very knowledgeable and more than willing to answer questions.

Don't miss this museum. It is filled with objects from the past and so many different trains. The children LOVED this place. We will visit again when we go back.

We had to stop in this town due to a car issue and thought we would kill some time at this museum. It turned out to be one of the best rail museums we have been to and we'll worth the $12 family fee!

We enjoyed our visit. It's one of the rare places we have visited that allows you to walk through train cars and see them really up close! There is a bit of a rustic look to the place and smell too but it goes with...More
