At Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures, You'll have the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving your own dog sled!

Live the dream of feeling the raw power of Alaskan Huskies pulling the sled through the Canadian Winter Wonderland that is the back country of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort, just a short drive from Kamloops, BC.

You'll see signs of wildlife on our private trails that wind through the forest. We'll start off by showing you how the dogs live, and then they'll show you how much they love to run!

I am a seventy & woman and still have many activities on my "to do" list. Dog sledding was one of them. My husband and I and a group of friends were on a ski vacation at Sun Peaks last February. Skiing back to our hotel after a day of wonderful skiing we met a woman and two young Arctic... More

You will not be one bit disappointed in this experience. The entire time from beginning to end was so worth it. Our family including 2 girls (7 and 5 years old) traveled the trails to the amazing frozen lake, it was a wonderful morning. The guides Taryn and Jase made the experience for both young and older one to remember.... More

I went on the 1 1/2 hr sled trip through forest trials and around frozen lakes with my teen daughter 2 years ago and we both had a great experience. On the last AM of our family ski trip this year, my wife and younger daughter also went sledding and loved it. They were particularly impressed with their guide's knowledge... More

I agree with most of what's been said before. Booking over the phone was easy & a confirmation email was sent immediately. The only caveat I'd add is that if you have back trouble, you may want to bring extra padding for the seats. There is a cushion, but the sleds are not sprung and the bumps can be hard.

We did one of the shorter tours and it was so much fun! Jessica was our guide and she was knowledgable and friendly. She even said she felt safe when she let us 'drive' haha. The dogs are so cute and they love attention. And the puppies!! So adorable! I would definitely recommend this one of a kind experience to... More

Did the born to run (longer) tour with Chris and the team, you are met by a member of the team and a couple 4 month old puppies to walk you down to the sleigh area which we thought was a nice welcoming touch. There was an explanation on each of the dogs, their breeding and the history which was... More

We had a great afternoon with Chris and his team.We loved meeting the dogs and the new puppies. The trip was exhilarating, the scenery beautiful and we all got a turn to drive the sled around the lake. A unique Canadian experience for us Aussies .

This was booked a surprise gift by our son and it doesn't disappoint. Despite the fact that I had broken my arm the previous week we were still able to do this. Chris was kindness itself and throughout the trip kept checking I was ok. The dogs are fantastic, each with a unique personality and if I could I would... More

We did the "Born to run" (longer) trip. Before setting off we got to meet each dog in our sled team learning about which are related and a bit about their personality. The sled itself was comfy and not too squashed for two people per sled. Both of our guides (we had both sleds) were lovely and talked us through... More

This is a MUST Do when you visit Sun Peaks. The whole experience, meeting the dogs, then the ride. Magical, being pulled through the forest and then into the opening and around a frozen lake. Every where you looked was like a postcard. The dogs are fantastic how they love to do their job, just love to run. So well organised... More
