The owner Chris and his wife went out of their way to get us an experience on Sunday am so we could get on the road for our drive home afterwards. Then they introduced the dogs to us, and let us pet and feed them… all were friendly and seemed very happy and healthy! The dogs were so excited to take us out on the sleds they could barely contain themselves… they took off like a shot when Trent said go! It was a beautiful day and an exciting ride!

Best thing I've ever done! Would highly recommend everyone booking this tour. Hands down was my favourite day on our holiday. The team are really friendly and caring. The dogs love what they do and are so well cared for and loved. Such a great fun thing to do. Shout out to Andrew our guide who was really informative and you could tell really enjoyed his job [who wouldn't]

This was FANTASTIC! The whole team was friendly, welcoming, and informative. The dogs were so friendly, and our guides, Trent and Eden shared all about how they train the dogs, how they line them up on the team for pulling, what the dogs' personalities are, and a bit about dog sledding history as well. It was incredible to be pulled through the wild by dogs who so clearly love to run. The whole family was grinning the whole time -- definitely a must-do experience!

Friday ‘Date Night’ snowmobile tour with 8 friends.
Such a beautiful experience to be out in the back country surrounded by snow laden trees and moonlit vistas.
Our main tour guide, Andrew, was very thorough in explaining the how tos of sledding on the new fleet of Skidoos offered by Mountainman Tours. We were fitted with new helmets and off we went, up, up to the McGillivray Lake outpost and the majesty of the winter forest.
We were treated to individual yummy charcuterie boxes and a variety of sodas, enjoyed in the warmth of the outpost hut while visiting and sharing stories. Once sated, off we went again, back down Morrisey mountain.
It was a really fun time to spend with friends. Thank you Mountainman Adventures!

We went dog sledding with the kids, and it was amazing! The scenery was breathtaking, with snow and fir trees all around. Chris gave us all the explanations, was very attentive, and answered all our questions. He is truly passionate about what he does. The dogs are very well treated and incredibly friendly. This ride was unforgettable. Thank you to Chris and his very friendly team as well!

What a fantastic experience! The scenery was breath-taking. The guides were fantastic and the dogs were amazing. The trails are a variety of twists and turns with wonderful views. You can tell that both the dogs and the staff LOVE their jobs. I will definitely book again when I return to Sun Peaks.

Snowmobile fun with relaxed and enthusiastic experts ensures a great trip out. Even though fully serviceable the sleds are showing their age but the new owner has plans to replace them. The day we went out the trail was pretty bumpy and I regretted going 2 up rather than a sled each, that said a young lad with his dad had an absolute blast, pay a little extra for a sled each to make your day special.

Thanks to Chris, Taryn and Korbin for a wonderful dog sled tour on Sunday 19th. This should be on everyone’s bucket list! The team picked us up on time, introduced us to the dogs and explained in detail the roles of each dog, how they are cared for etc. We went on the longer tour up to the lake, the scenery was spectacular and each sled driver answered our many questions along the way, I recommend this tour option.
The highlight was feeding the dogs at the end. They were friendly and liked being patted after their hard work. We also got to see the 5 puppies, super cute!
Overall this was a fantastic experience with a very well run tour, the team gets 5 stars from me. Thanks!

Hi there,
We are coming to Sun Peak in Dec/Jan and i know you say the sleds fit 2 comfortably. However, my son will only be 21months so will he fit with my husband and I?
Written July 22, 2015
Thank you for you interest in my company. Our sleds carry 2 people under 350lbs, plus the guide. We also have an age limit of 4 years. Unfortunately your son will have to wait a couple years. Thanks again

Our sleds will fit 2 people comfortably. So your family would need 2 sleds. Thanks
