I've heard about Sun Peaks but hadn't given it a try until this year. Its amazing. Had great snow the whole week, and the small village has amazing food. Mt. Morrissey gets zero traffic, and has some of the most fun skiing at the resort.

Sun Peaks boasts the second highest ski acreage in Canada. It offers a great mix of runs to suit all abilities. Unfortunately, getting to these runs is the difficult part. The lift system is in desperate need of an upgrade to bring it into line with other large resorts. The Crystal Lift is more than 35 years old, while the... More

Family friendly, lots of good terrain, lift lines tend to be short, even on the weekends. Nice, compact village, it's Whistler 30 years ago.

Usually my husband and I go to Whistler for our ski vacations since we live only a two hour drive away but we decided to try someplace new this time and picked Sun Peaks! PROS: No lift lines!!! We were there mid week and the longest we waited to get on a chair was maybe 2 minutes. We are used... More

As the Blue bird Market shop in Sun Peaks has a limited range I suggest that you try Sun Peaks Grocery Delivery. They do the shopping for everything you need and deliver it into your room and put whatever is necessary into your frig/freezer etc. There is a mark up of 35% and seperate mark up on liquor . I chose to... More

We come every year, the mountain and village has something to offer for everyone, if you want to party or chill you have the option. Very affordable , unlike most ski restarts !

My first trip here; definitely not my last! 3 mountains. Tons of variety. Lots of challenging black runs yet huge variety of fun playful blues. Everyone will be happy with whatever runs they prefer. There are no high-speed chair lifts so cold, windy days can be challenging; especially the 22 min ride up the Burfield chair. However, once up there... More

Our first visit was in Aug 2016 and we just had to return in the winter after seeing the boarding potential. Large area with lots to do and tons of runs. Biking and hiking in the summer. Will definitely return in the future. Nice change from Whistler.

Can't say enough about Sun Peaks! The village life is ideal! Great places for acres ski, and dinner/lunch out. Bluebird market (which had LOVELY service) was great for picking up last minute things to make dinner yourself. We brought our Bernese Mountain Dog and he was the hit of the town. Awesome nordic and snowshoe trails for us to enjoy... More
