A flourishing garden of well cared for vegetables that unfortunately are not for sale as they are all donated to the food bank. However you can buy local honey there for a reasonable price.

Many species of trees, shrubs and flowers and large veggie garden, most labelled for learning purposes. Lovely pavillion and fire pit hosting many events and festivals. Helpful, volunteer staff. Trails throughout.

The gardens are run by volunteers and there's a lot of work to be done here still! There is a deck that juts out on to Creek that's good.

The botanical gardens are "getting there", but should not be compared to Queen Elizabeth Park or UBC, they have a ways to go. There is a pleasant walk along a trail that does show a typical "rain forest" however this is a very limited view...More
