This small visitors center had all the maps and brochures you could ever want and the most helpful and friendly staff ever. There was also a computer for public use that was very convenient to use. I was in the motel right across the street...More

Great to hear that you got all the help you were looking for. The daily whistle does take some getting used to, especially when you're close. And we agree, the museum is definitely worth the stop!

Happy to hear the stop was helpful. Plenty more history to learn about in Revelstoke for sure. Lots to do there, and live music in the plaza every evening!

We got great advice regarding a number of hikes in the area. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in an easy to access spot in town.

So glad to hear you enjoyed the hiking. We just had a big storm on Monday morning that put trees and branches down on a lot of the local trails (and roads), so your timing was excellent.

Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all the secret nooks and things to be careful about regarding the whole region. Nakusp itself is a small pleasant village.

Glad we were able to help. And happy to help keep you safe while you're exploring. Just because something is 'natural' doesn't make it harmless, especially when it comes to poison ivy and wildlife.

Stop here first! The staff here can tell you everything you need to know, and they also know the best kept secrets about where to dine in town.

Knowledgeable staff on our route to the south-east Kootenays. The ladies went out of their way to make sure we had the information needed for out trip, even though it was their closing time.
