I hiked down to the waterfall and creek a few weeks ago. If you want solitude you should go early in the morning and not long after the sun rises. Great views and scenery without the crowds.

If you're staying in Radium or plan on visiting the Radium Hot Springs, definitely go to see it. If you're staying in the Banff area, however, here's the problem. Getting from Banff to Sinclair Canyon requires that you turn off the main highway leading to...More

What an amazing feat of engineering to be able to blast thru this canyon and make a road. It is neat to be able to walk thru it also. A must see if you are in the area.

The canyon, cliffs and crevises were impressive, and close to Radium hot springs. Magnificent drive, with frequent sightings of black bear, longhorn sheep and goats.

At first glance, from a distance, the gap here looks insignificant but as you get closer and closer it is like th Needles Highway in SD, it seems too small to drive through. But, this seemingly insignificant gap in the mountains opens out into a...More

Staying in Radium, we drove about an hour along the highway to take in the scenery. It was early spring and most road side stops were closed due to snow, but it was still majestic just to drive through.

You really do feel small compared to this particular place , great place to take pictures and not crowded with tourist zoos.

Great hike. Views are worth the climb. Highlights included looking down from top of canyon and seeing the falls from below. Unfortunately due to construction, the pedestrian sidewalk is CLOSED this season. Sad. Not only was I looking forward to seeing the view looking up,...More
