Beautiful clear water for swimming at the campsite beach

Great to go for a swim, bring a kayak or canoe and go for a short walk 30-40min on the loop trail with a nice view of the lake.

Its like returning home every time we visit. The campsite is nice but a little awkwardly laid out for lake use. The lake is beautiful as is the surrounding scenery.

This Provincial Park and Campground located on Big Bar Lake; About 30 km of forest service road off Caribou highway not far from Clinton, BC. Road is well maintained and drivable all year around; normally we are making 80 - 60 km/h. Campground is open May 15 to September 30. Lake is well stocked with trout. Fishermen are using all... Easy hiking trail around the Otter Marsh provides plenty to see with the backdrop of the coastal mountains. Fairly flat hike on a well marked trail.

This provincial park is located about 30 minutes along a windy, dirt road from Clinton, B.C. There are many campsites/RV sites that overlook the lake, as well as cosy well-treed, private campsites within the park. The beach is quite large for an inland lake. Although, not a fisherman myself, we heard that the fishing was good. Just 15 minutes up... More

Hubby & I went to this guest ranch for 7 days, following a four day stay in August 2013. The riding was as good as we remembered it; the wranglers helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, the horses great! We took our RV - a 28 foot fifth wheel and had no trouble on the easy gravel road to the ranch from... More
