Love stopping at this park! The lake is beautiful and the mountains are stunning! The park is small and each campsite has access to the lake with a sitting area below your parking spot.

The park attendant is the best: super accommodating, helpful, and practical ... on a Sunday morning we discovered the battery in our camper was dead. Having no cell service, the park attendant headed us in the right direction to find a new battery and continue our trip (thank you!). We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Visitor and camper parking was clearly marked. There were clean facilities for the campers to use and a short gravel trail leading to the beach. The water was clean and cold and very refreshing to swim in. There were beautiful vistas to admire and the whole experience was incredible. Walking, hiking, and boating are all permitted. It's a lovely way to spend the evening. Also a pretty place to picnic if you're interested!

Marble Canyon, located between Cache Creek and Lillooet, is an amazing one of kind place. Pavilion lake is one of the few fresh water lakes in the world with living coral reefs, and is studied by scientists the world over - including NASA. The huge limestone walls that tower directly above the lakes are beautiful, and offer great hiking and rock climbing for those more adventurous. The "Provincial Park" itself is unfortunately nothing more than a small roadside campground, where you are unlikely to get a campsite if you arrive on a weekend - most sites will be taken up by noisy RVs. It's one of those typical highway side BC Prov. Parks that are best put as better than nothing. The majority of the lakeside is privately owned and populated by cabins/houses - so unless you have a boat you wont be able to enjoy it. There is a private campground that will rent out canoes. If you arrive at the prov. park campground planning to tent, and there are no spots available, continue driving east for a couple of kms (towards Cache Cr.) and turn right on the first logging road you come to. Head up the logging road and find yourself a nice campsite in the woods, free of charge, overlooking the lake and massive limestone walls. One word of warning on the logging road campsites, its is wilderness and during hunting season there may be hunters up there, and last time I camped up there a cougar wandered right through our site.

This is a perfect little walk around a huge, dramatic limestone canyon in an area just recovering from a forest fire a decade previously. It takes less than an hour and is pretty much all flat but such a great place.

The swimming is great, many spots are under trees for shade, the campsite is popular and convenient for passers-by, has only outhouses but an attendant keeps them clean, a very pretty campsite close to a swimming lake, what more could you ask.

This campground is about 40 km's from Cache Creek on the way to Lilloet. The campground is near a pretty little lake which is perfect for kayaking. There are tent sites and larger sites available for rvs. The sites cost $18 or $9 for seniors up until June 15th when the sites are full price for everyone. The toilets were clean and well supplied with toilet paper. Pavilion lake is close by and is beautiful as well. We enjoyed our stay here so much and will include it on our road trips in the future.

Went in late June and water level was very high. It appeared to cut off access to most of the trails in the park.

An easily accessable canoe/kayak lake and well run provincial campsite. Not too many people! It is called marble canyon because of the spectacular marble mountains, they are actually made of marble. The beauty of the area is unique. I was baptized in this lake. It is a spiritual place for me.

We stayed at Marble Canyon Provincial Park when it was a really hot day. Boy was the water of Crown Lake a delight to swim in. It was even quite warm. It is such a pretty area set amongst towering cliffs of coloured limestone. On the other side of the lake is a small waterfall. The loons were wonderful and so were the friendly ducks who paddled past. While we were there a family went out in a boat and caught 4 rainbow trout in about an hour. It was $18 for the night. There were Bbqs, but there was a fire ban on at the time, as well as picnic tables and bush toilets.

A small, narrow park between the road a deep lake a shade of intense acquamarine unlike any natural water I've ever seen (at Disney theme parks, they dye the water this color). The residential end of the lake is quite beautiful, and we say a few boaters out enjoying the day. But in July when we visited, the PP end of the lake was a bit stagnant, and fearful of bugs (perhaps not an issue at other times of the year) we elected to move on.
