We went for a walk around this quiet little park with some interesting historical buildings. You can't enter the buildings, but it's a nice place for photos.

kids can see old one room school, & several houses - period furnished , & barn - open for private events, have 1st of july picnic, threshing bee in fall. beautiful gardens.. not sure re hours.

Sheppard Family Park is a beautiful hidden gem in the south end of High River. I got married here in Sept 2016. It is such a beautiful location, the old houses, school house gardens and the amazing barn. It made for a perfect rustic location....More

Absolutely love this place. Takes you back when there was no gas, electricity, phone or internet. Just a simple but hard life when people were self sufficient, helped each other & bartered for things you needed..simplicity...hhhmmm

We attended a wedding here over the Easter long weekend & what a nice location/building!!! Love the barn/rustic feeling. Great for a smaller wedding (approx. 90-100). Well kept & cared for!! Really enjoyed the property!!

Great place to pull out a blanket have a nice picnic lunch with anyone. Beautiful scenery. On some weekends they have live music in the warmer months. Just a all around great place to just sit back and relax

Non operational due to major flood June 20 2013 The Sheppard Park, was nice and now there is nothing there, all the fields, home and farm equipment has been ruined. Bridges into the family park have between washed out. At this point no restoration is...More

Shepard family park received extensive flood damage from the little Bow. And Highwood floods inJune 2013 they are recovering farm equipment from the trenches of the flood. Definitely out of operation for balance 2013
