This museum is OUTSTANDING and truly brilliant in every way possible.
From the moment you walk in you are welcomed.
The thought and care to each display is really good. It’s our favourite by far!
The manager Dawn is wonderful as are the volunteers. Each area is so carefully put together! Each room is full of so much local history beautifully put together.
The model train area is another wow!
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

i have taken my grand children there many times, they enjoy the trains that run outdoors in the summer, and the indoor train set up, as well as the old style classroom, soo many things to see and the ppl that work there are amazing

The "Old Red Brick School House" building is beautiful from the outside, circa 1907. We actually went here for the first time to hear photographer talk about ghost towns of the west. The talk was pretty good. It was a voluntary donation for entrance fee. The room was part of the museum, but was set up with tables and chairs complete with tablecloths and centerpieces. We were amazed at the care and detail the museum folks (volunteers I believe) put into this event. Tea, coffee and ice tea were also served along with an assortment of baked goods and finger foods. It was absolutely delightful. I definitely was very impressed and would like to return to the museum another time to explore all of the exhibits.
