The young cashier is so sweet. The tour guides are amazing. The groom that works with the horses is wonderful!

We thought the place was closed but hubby and I thought we would go check it out anyway. It was open and wow what a site !!! It is amazing the staff was wonderful and friendly. And there is so so much to see we could have stayed there for hours. But we went in close to closing. This is definitely a must see. I would go back

My friend and I were taking a quick trip through southern Alberta, and we had no idea what to expect as we rolled up to this place. Museums can be a risk, and "unusual" museums can be even more of a gamble.

Totally worth it! It was not "exciting" but it was much more extensive than I was expecting.

My favorite part was the repair shop that you "tour" and talk to the techs. I learned so much talking to one of the repair volunteers! Just goes to show that you get out of it what you put into it.

We were told there were a lot of carriages at this museum but were still impressed with the number of different types of carriages and wagons. Worthwhile to visit this site if you are ever in the area.

If you're at Glacier National Park, take a day to head north to visit this museum. We stumbled upon it as we were driving through Cardston. Signs for the museum are on the road, but the museum itself is behind a smaller building and a parking lot. It's billed as having the largest carriage collection in the world. They are not exaggerating! And for good measure there are a few horseless carriages thrown in. In some areas the carriages are on 2 story displays, in other areas, THREE story displays. Everything from fancy carriages to work carriages, and even a couple of hearses! You will not be disappointed that you stopped at this hidden gem in Cardston, Alberta, Canada.

Ok I was skeptical, but this place is outstanding. We were passing through Cardston and saw the museum. We had some time to kill so we stopped in. This place was a pleasant surprise. Lots, I mean lots, of carriages...all types from farm to luxury to farm to sleighs. Several interactive displays. I highly recommend this place.

This was by far the best display of horse carriages, wagons & horseless carriages that I've ever come across. And it's less than 2 hours South of Calgary. I highly recommend this museum. We just loved the carriage ride around the 30 acre property.

Quiet place with beautiful grounds and amazing collection of everything horse and carriage related. Cafeteria had great fries. No lines ups - you can take as much time as you want at the well organized, interesting and interactive displays. And bonus - found a vintage plate for amazing price in the gift shop!
