Wholly run by volunteers this museum in in an old cottage. Lots of fascinating objects from the local area. Its only open for a few hours a week so check opening times first. Entry is free so donations are requested. There is also a cage...More

Its amazing that this village has this old prison, its open at weekends and shows what it was like many years ago if you were naughty, its a nice piece of history

Tiny village museum but crammed with interesting artefacts and objects which bring the history of this beautiful village to life. Staffed by courteous and friendly local volunteers who are knowledgable and very happy to answer questions.

Driving through the town we first spotted the Cage museum-the old lock up kept open for visitors and telling some great stories. Then we found the wonderful Cottage Museum, packed with local history and the volunteers there really happy to tell us about their town....More
